    http://www.tech-mavic.com/tech-mavic/technical_manual/data/docs/themes/2_19.pdf

On page 24 bottom pic of rear hub All washers and thingys accounted for.. As this is exactly the same diagram as the one i have.

I suspect this to be the culprit.. Are the bearings changeable on this one? Or do i need the whole assembly..tried to push the bearings out after taking that circlip thats keeping them inside but no success 🙁 …bearings seems smooth but not too freewheeling.if you understand what i meant

    My next carbon parts:

Xxworld cup with black stanchions 120mm
    Easton carbon wheels
    Renthal carbon bars
    Avid carbon brakes

I draw the line on others that has very little gain to be made carbon..

Whats the weight of your bike by the way?

Sorry to bring this thread back, how do you remove the tip of the axle..is it a compress fit?

    wolfenstein

I can do cups and cones shimano hubs ..just cant get my head around in this.. Videos in mavic tech shows the allen key to remove the exle freehub..but this hub seems to be different.. Jockey wheels is ok. @andyrocketer ..exactly the same symptoms you pointed out ,.no bent axle though.

STW slags off conti rubber queen going tubeless, conti rubber queen in For Sale section getting sold in matter of seconds 😯

STW hates orange, STW mostly ride orange

STW hates avid elixir… Well i hate it too the 5…. Elixir 7 Trail is faultless and love it though

STW likes HOPE, STW are mostly Hope fanboys for no reason

STW loves Shimano, I love Shimano too 🙂

I don’t see 3 guides on top tube or something that suggest i could route it there….does it go through the dog bone? ..or just keep it to the side ? Don’t fancy having cable ties around the top tube tbh.

shocks has no noise at all. I run 30% sag..as i’ve said shock is perfect tune in open position for me… just lacking propedal or climb assist (whatever it’s called) .. should I ring CRC about this? I bought this frame+shock from them couple of weeks ago.. or is this normal for RP23 shock to behave this way?

    wolfenstein

@Mary Hinge? is it worth it? the £40 retune.. I am very happy with the stock tune in mine now.. literally felt was made solely for me… the rear sticks to the ground regardless of bumps or terrain, felt like i am just gliding. perfect! and don’t want that tune to be messed up.. a little help on the climb would be helpful though.

Also, when you flick the switches left and right, very soft feel.. unlike my other shocks.

left – right flick switch.. then that thingy you pull and twist.. 0, 1 and 2 , it is very weird that I cannot feel any diffeRence… I have RP2 and CTD and i notice difference when i flick their switches 😐

@scruff …probably a dumb question, but, what it looks like if its scored?

another question, if i have another whole remote assembly should i fit it from the seatpost hose connector or just in the remote?

    wolfenstein

I tried to poke it.. The seatpost still works up and down.

I believe you are not a regular cinema viewer…. I always bring a bagfull food of my choice ..even my kid do it ..(coca cola in can, popcorn, chocolate..you name it.) rather than buying in the cinema .. You get odd looks now and then peeling a banana before the movie starts though 😉 but you get used to it
