Parkng book in advance to get the best possible rate.

Check whether you can pay for fast track on the day through security/passport. Sometimes the normal queues are so short there is no point paying, equally if the queues are huge cough up the cash on the day.

Have never come across a good value ‘premium lounge’, see if your credit card or other membership gets you into an airline specific one. Otherwise try and limit the time at the airport, as it is normally the time post check-in where you get fleeced for food, drinks and triangular chocolate!

Had one, it was sh!te in many ways, ask her to put some money in the bank to cover repairs. That will get her to change her mind.

Had a v50 drive as well, the boot size is really disappointing, try a Peugeot 308 sw for more room and diesel

Keep them coming and don’t read to much into the thread, it’s here to find alongside the ‘best looking bike thread’. So before Christmas we should be able to complete the best rider\bike eye candy mix.

Lime green set on the way, great price, rude not to buy a set.

Park your worries and enjoy the car. If you got rid of it and bought another, you could end up with a duffer as a result of a panic buy. The service history is a great comfort on a car with this mmileage as issues will have been addressed as they’ve come up.

Cheers Dave – only seen a vague picture with colours on for the triple S site, planning to go to them based on the recommendations. Like your yellow, so will go with that and a laquer finish.

Gold flake is nice, so I’ll ask about that as a possibility as well. have soemthing similar on my trek, but it’s lost most of the glint (I don’t clean it).

I also need to make sure I don’t spend more on the paint than the actual frame…

    Had one, loads of problems
With it, the dealers and Nissan UK. It was one of the first ones rolled out so it was always likely to be problematic. Driving position is great, nightmare in the back with anything more than two people. You barely fit a child in the middle.

Fiesta 950 popular plus (one wing mirror, four gears and only car caught speeding in)
    Citroen AX diesel
    Fiat Bravo
    Posh Fiesta Ghia
    Puma
    Mini One convertible
    Nissan Muarano
    Mini Cooper S convertible
    VW Touareg

Car I enjoyed the most: Puma
Car I hated the most: Cooper S covertible. Leaked like a sieve as had bought a lemon. Thankfully garage took it back 10 days later.

If you were thinking of spending up to a £1000, why not this one from Halfords

+1 for Levi, if you can convince the family go after Christmas, as you can go foe longer for the same money and have a better experience. The transfer time for Levi is very quick as well and there is plenty of other things to do. Ski school for children is also very good.

Cheap to insure even when modified a mk1 bmw mini. Blufin remap takes it to Cooper who and insure with Adrian Flux. Add some cash for handling improvements and you’ve got great car. Loads to choose from as well, as opposed to the other recommendations which Arlene easy to come by

QuirKy and fresh, saw loads in France earlier in the year and loved them. Or you could blend into the background in a focus (yawn)

I understand that the Evans Halshaw warranty is shitte so go for giving them the car back and getting them to source some sort of replacement. Recently bought a Cooper s convertible from JCT600 only to discover a week later that the previous owner had bodged a roof repair. They took the car back no quibbles and found a replacement car within a week, sadly not another Cooper S, but something I was happy with as an alternative.
