We hope Eddie returns in one bit, worried for him as it doesn’t look like he changed his tyres!

Just back from my third ride on my Jekyll, don’t pass it by because of the enduro tag. It’s a great all-round bike with scope for much more. I’ve just comfortably done a 15m cross country ride and didn’t think I was carrying unnecessary weight or was overbiked. Glad I spotted this as, but pleased I didn’t go for the Trigger in the end.

Road bike is two years on with no change.

Last MTB had chnages planned before it arrived.

    It’s a do and don’t care issue.

Fuzzywuzzy, great feedback on the Trigger. On the lefty you can lock it dowwn/unlock with the red\blue combo at the top of the stanchion.

I am with you on the front wheel faff, but still easier than the four bolts I had on my my fox 36s a few years back.

For the brake caliper I think am going to make/bodge something together to keep it safe as I think it has the potential for an expensive accident. Might be that massive lump of blue foam that the lefty axle was stuck in when the bike arrived.

Rusty – my Jekyll had both. Might be model option/reduced kit thing. Phone Paul’s, I am sure they will help.

Sideshow, you are the same height as me, you’d want a medium. Height and reach work well with dropper post at either end of up and down, suggest you set your seatpost height with the travel in the shorter setting

Didn’t bother with the flowers just came back with a big grin on my face from my first ride, it was bloody fab. Had trouble getting the wheels to run tubeless so stuck the tubes back in and headed out!

Have taken a days holiday tomorrow to unbox my Jekyll and take it for a ride 🙂

It’s been sat in the living room for three days. Wife not happy about presence of box or new bike – whoops!

Cheers goes away to source some. Are the 2.4s still stupidly big like the rubber queens were?

Used triple SS, expensive and not bike friendly to be honest and limited choice of colour. Wish I’d gone to bob jackson

I think we’ll see more manufactures either being found out or holding their hands-up in the next few months.

Compliance with regulation for any industry is a challenging act for any industry. Ask the banking industry.

Will VW get a a harder time because of higher emissions causing ill health when compared to bankers?

Saw it fly by(e) nearnorth leeds/Harrogate yesterday, epic viewing. If you ever want to see one very close go to the aviation museum just outside Norwich airport, only then do you appreciate the size of the best and how stupidly small the cockpit is!

Love mine, chews through tyres a bit qicker than I hoped. Not sure if it is my driving or the wife towing her horse.

Great all round family shifter, very comfy. Wouldn’t use it for an everyday commute in town though.

I’ve got the older R5 diesel in Altitude spec. All the toys ever needed, crap VED though 🙁

New helmet from halfords that way she may save your life at some point in the future. Or, a pop up gazebo from Argos to use in car parks when you go mountain biking and don’t want to get wet 😉

What next! As a labour leader he could go down in the history books for a variety of reasons, although I think he may now well have realised he has a hole in his foot and a smoking gun..

Round down Etna, bloody fantastic, drop these people an email, triridemtb.com, they took me up for a half day cycling and they do cheaper guided tours. Your never likely to be able to cycle down a volcano again…

I was offered a discounted rearend from Trek for my Fuel Ex as the paint bubbled, but it didn’t qualify as a warranty replacement. I was told up front that the rear end colour wouldn’t match, which I ca understand when you take into account all the various colourways. Perhaps manufacturers should consider just keeping raw frame spares to get round this problem. But I don’t think that they should pay for the paint job to get them to match in such circumstances.

Find a prince albert if you can. There was one going for less than a £100 recently, but I think it may have been too small for you.

Small delay in eating beetroot. Had some fresh at BBQ, didn’t die, but didn’t like it much either. Hope seafood had been more successful for binners, that is he liked it and he didn’t die from seafood poisoning!
