If you head back to the original cannondale trigger Paul’s cycles offer thread, I’d suggest approaching anyone that bought the spec that you are looking for.  Quite a few folk bought bikes and sufficient time has passed that they might now be looking to move on to their next bike.

I’d like for cable rub into the frame and forks, I found the rear brake cable on my carbon jekyll had rubbed a few mm into the frame.

Also turn the bike over and have a careful look for rock strikes on the downturn.  All the frames had protector on them, but it didn’t cover all of it.

Also ask as to whether the fork has had the mandatory internal upgrade if it’s a supermax lefty.

    Good luck on the purchase.

Drivers side? It will be a real near the steering coumn as per a common Corsa leak.

In true STW forum style I’d say Guiseley.

    I live in Guiseley.

Horsforth not to far away. Train into leeds if you need it.

A good mixture of things to do on and off the bike, road or mtb.

In previous years was the most average place in the country according to the ONS!

I look out of my kitchen window everyday and see cows, horses and cyclists.

It’s no more than 15 minutes into leeds on a train and the same to Ilkley.

Also handy for holidays out of leeds Bradford airport.  Worth checking the house location in relation to flightpaths anywhere in this neck of the woods if you are not a fan of plane noise. There isn’ much and very little night flying, but be aware. But you do get the advantage of seeing some interesting military planes leaving about once a month. Tornado last week :-) and sadly gone are the days when Concorde visited once a month.

If you are coming down stop at the Chevin and soak up the view.  Oh and we get the bronwnlees coming through on boxing day doing the Chevin chase.

    Fine place, Guiseley.

Yes, but wait until Jan sales or Amazon sales day. Most are 240 at the moment with current releases. I bet sub 200 after Xmas. Factor in an extra controller at £40 though.

Tried three lots of cat litter. Am going to have a serious look at cat nappies now I know they exist.

Can’t face putting him down as he is he appears to be happy and in no pain at the moment, so I’d rather not so goodbye because it’s inconvenient for me.

Used Vodafone many years ago and they were ok, but then withdrew from the market. At they likely to stick around again? I think the current pricing policy is nothing more than an attempt to grab some of the market after which prices will increase unless you bundle your mobile service with them. Ultimately the future is providers cutting across home phone/mobile/broadband and TV.

So, in the short term make use of the offer and watch out for price hikes and bundled services.

Nice set of metal (nearly tin) candlesticks holders, don’t need to be silver. Try John Lewis.

Make meal, set table, put candle sticks in the middle.

Well if they are bored enough to listen and have enough computing capacity to crunch the data they will have heard me sneeze a lot today.

If I get a special offer on Kleenex tomorrow, I’ll know that they’ve broken the law.

Bit of a luck, eBay gave me a £15 thank you voucher, so picked an echo up from Argos on eBay for £85.

30 mins in and I am very impressed, easy to set up and voice recognition is good. If it works for my wife later I will be very impressed.

Going to link to hive next.

Picked up a nice peel for about £7 in the Lakeland sale the other week in York.

Picked up a pizza oven from BBQBarbecues in their sale for £99, having fun with it and learning as we go!

Anyone know what insurance costs are like.

Miss Withersea with learn to drive next year, so will need to chop in the boy racer fiesta for something more insurable for a 17 year old.

A quick Google for costs indicates insurance costs are likely to be higher, but I’d like to hear from those who have an electric car.

My Schwinn 4 banger from around 2000. Introduced me to full suspension, carbon and hydraulic brakes all for £750.

Took my mountain bike riding from fun to bloody brilliant in a month.

Blimey world record for me finding something that I thought I’d lost. It’s a black Samsung 20-50 F3.5-5.6 mk 2 lens.

My mail as per profile if you are interested and i’ll work out a STW price for you.

If you are going to York, try the Viking museum as well. You can easy spend two days in York and if you like cheese go to the ‘love cheese’ cafe for lunch.

And if you like planes head to Yorkshire air museum.

Will be going again next year, stood memorized in the grand stand last year when the toyota stopped in front of us. Hope they clinch it this year.

If anyone doesn’t have support, Quest have some live coverage and highlights. And if you need the full fix, youtube are streaming radio le mans.

Look at the 20″ felt bikes at wiggle. Seem a good mix between cost, weight and spec.

My daughter, and her friend, got home 30 mins ago from this.

    It’s horrible.

Please let’s leave it here and just have thoughts for those that have lost their lives.

I was flashed by this set a few weeks back on a Sunday morning but haven’t had anything through as it junk there was a fault and they flashed for everyone. I think they must have lowered to a specific speed limit on the ganteries and then when it changed back to normal the cameras didn’t keep up with the change.

My approach has always stick to the limit that the ganteries show (they normally give on gantry notice of a change). And if nothing is showing travel at my normal motorway speed.

Surely a vitara would be a better option, with more choice and more comfortable.

Quick edit: Terios is a good shout

I’ve had a few and like them for weight and comfort. However, the SDG posts have a tendancy to split, so look for a kore post instead.

I had one wasted day out with a split post which could have been very painful and one narrow escape.

Having never had a problem with a normal post, I’d probably say don’t do it, unless weight is that important and you don’t mind having a spare all of the time.

    Two major errors:

    1) went to London, and
    2) took the Circle Line

One bonus, on train back to Leeds. :D
