Bought an electric battery bosch a couple of years ago and it’s been fab. came with two batteries and will do a solid hour of mowing, no cables, no problems starting, no servicing, blade very sharp. not great for really big gardens, but minimal hassle and batteries charge really quick as they are li-ion and don’t fade.

No experience of the bike, but I was in a similar situation with my daughter and was lucky enough to find a specialized a1 fsr with very little use. I think a search on the for sale forum might through one up that was for sale a few months back. Great bikes if you can find one and seem highly likely to keep it’s money when it gets outgrown.

Great day out, loads to do, put some comfortable walking shoes on as sometimes the trams and buses get very busy. Highlight for me was the mine, real eye opener into what life was like in the pits.

Thee tree trekking is good fun, it’s not Go Ape but still worth doing. Don’t buy the logs in the shop to burn on the fire or the disposable bbqs, they are both v v bad.

Really enjoyed the paintballing as well. Some friends did the quad biking but said it was a bit lame.

    Enjoy!

How about a change of direction, mercedes e class estate, must be an auto though. huuuuuge inside and good value, servicing can be costly at a main dealer though. or if you can find one for the right money and you don’t mind the odd looks mercedes r class. can be very good value as they are pig ugly :-)

Yes, a very good short cut, but DO stop at the cafe, you’ll not regret it! Do the old red bull on the Sunday, has a new name, but it’s the one that goes through the horns just before the cafe where everything starts, someone will tell you the new name

V happy in guiseley and meets all the criteria you are looking for, as others have said. We can ride from our house, 12 mins on the train to leeds and a good range of local schools. There are a number of new builds going up which can be cheaper than the traditional old stone property. There is a big development of an old hospital (High Royds) which I’d avoid, unless you like lunatic asylums from the 1800s. They are promoting it under a number of different names to loose the hospital link. On the plus side it does have a bridleway running through it! Seriously consider anything on the wharfedale line as most of the villages are really nice. If you like the area but want to spend less, look at otley, but you will be without a train station.

Feel free to drop me a line if you are looking for any local info on guiseley or would like a guided tour.

sounds like you have the skills and experience you need and just need to have some calming techniques to hand. two suggestions, 1) rescue remedy from boots, it really does help! 2) if you have time look up some NLP techniques that can help you retain a calm approach to the task in hand. a lot of these require you to visualise yourself in a calm, relaxed scenario. once you can do this, you then need to recall that state of mind in the situations when you are not at your best. sounds a bit airy fairy but it works well for me

Was with vodafone for home internet access and it was good, sadly they’ve pulled out of the market and we got moved to plus net. Connection not as good, especially poor during peak times so will be looking to move soon as well

on the brand front you are going to say dull and no

on the bang for your buck you’ll say ‘that looks worth looking at’

mazda 6 sport – you’ll get a relatively new one, stick a removable tow bar on with a decent bike carrier – sorted

I found my Juicy fives worked perfectly…until the started rubbing and wouldn’t stop rubbing. Had no issues with stopping power though.

I assume this means you could never go in the end, hence no issue with stopping power!

I learnt at levi in lapland. excellent ski school, not overly busy and quite a few other things to do. snow always guaranteed as you are in the artic circle! booze is expensive, but everything else is reasonable. have been to austria few times since, but much prefer lapland and the quality of the instructors. and the twenty minute airport to resort transfer is fab

I had a day out the tri-ride guys avfew years ago. I did the etna descent trip with them and it was fantaaaaastic! It was expensive as it was only for me and they collected me, returned me t.o the hotal and provided a fantastic bike. they do plenty of organised rides as well which are much cheaper. Make sure you take your camel bak as you will drnk a lot!

    Enjoy

Collected my trek 69er ss from higgi (many thanks to higgi for meeting in the middle) on saturday and took it for a blast on sunday. First ride ever on a singlespeed and a 29er (well half a 29er) and loved it, came home with a huge grin.

The most fun I’ve had on a bike since cycling down Mount Etna, which was more scarey than fun!

I’ve got the same Sony system as mashiehood and it’s fantastic and small speakers are brillant and the set-up very simple with other Sony equipment, might not be as easy with a Samsung, but it does have coax and optical connections if you can’t get hdmi from you xbox. But be warned the sub is quite big. I shopped around ang got it for £220 at Hughes electrical – bargintastic!

I had a good look at soundbars and you do need to spend a fair wedge if cash before you get a decent one. Second choice for me was an onkyo system from Richersounds.

did the very same on a bank holiday, £90 without the cost of getting the wall replastered…..I then invested in a pipe detector!
