This place is fantastic and a very warm welcome

    Homepage

Food is fantastic and now they have a bard it’s even better.

Stopped here for many years and they are happy to store bikes as well – parking can be difficult during the summer though.

….a bit more looking than that to be honest and it was three years ago. I don’t know many other companies that would be helpful. Credit, where credit due in my opinion.

Easy peasy Robert welch steel candlesticks from john lewis look great, made of steel and make the number eleven if you buy a pair! Sorted me out two years ago, got a bit stuck on year 13 though…

Ladders look at the wedding present article further down, unsurprisingly it’s got an advert for wedding rings on the page, the power of the Internet… Start a thread on a new subject you’ll be amazed at what turns up!

Now for the question in hand. Re book publishing, you need to be v v good to get a big publisher behind yo. They get thousands of drafts a day, so expect a long slog. It is possible to get it along and self publish on the kindle store, selling your books at a very low cost helps to get you underway.

Whatever you do not pay to print your own books, it will cost you a lot and you’ll feel great until you realise that you still have lots and lots of books unsold years later…

Good luck and don’t get disheartened

some team changes at the top would be good for all and yes I agree 2014 is going to be a great year of change, withe the potential for another Brawn GP style winner

Wwas was, tring not to go down the legal route as that seems to money drown the drain but recognise the risk of not doing so. Cheers for the examples doh1nut and cb, the map in our deeds is circa industrial revolution so let’s just say the boundaries are a bit vague….

I assume as a fence isn’t a permanent structure it doesn’t have any long term legal implications and from the research I’ve done you need to demonstrate that it’s been used for the last twenty years, which it has, we’ve been here for 12 and the precious owners have for 18 all of which confirms use.

Is it worth asking for a letter from them to confirm that they do not intend to stop use of the path? Not sure what if any use it would be…

Another shout for Taormina, fantastic place to visit. The evenings are fantastic. If you use taxi’s make sure you always agree a price up front, it’s the only place I’ve ever been screwed over by taxi drivers. Although it’s a non-riding holiday have a look at what’s possible….when else are you ever going to get to ride down a volcano! I did and it was fantastic.

Also a fuel ex rider, moved to it from a spesh enduro with a 20mm hub. Loved the bike, but hated the front end flex.

I changed the set up to RS revs with adjustable travel and a 15mm hub, made a huge difference and works well with the tapered headset.

Stick with your bike and looknat on one or merlin for a deal on a good set of forks.

Been using avoids on three bikes, enjoy using them, hate changing the pads. Would buy another set of elixirs but thought I’d look around.

Would second hand hopes be a better bet?? Will also look at rose as well

I’ll be supporting the proposal. I live on a road where it changes from 30 to 60 just after the end of my street. No one slows to thirty before getting to the thirty sign, most people are doing 60 before leaving the thirty. We have regular police speed cameras which people can see from miles away and strangely enough they never catch anyone. At the moment the council won’t consider changes to the road (speed calming etc) because there hasn’t been enough accidents….strange world we live in….

Because I am at home ill and bored I had a look around for you on the assumption you want a nice, large, well looked after estate, from somewhere near Glasgow for under 5k with agood service history. Have a look at

    Sabb 95 estate with fsh

CB acid are in the middle in terms of size, I like the mallets but they do look a bit clunky on a xc bike.

Another v50 owner here, great all round family car, we’ve got the sluggish 1.6 diesel edrive but it is road tax free! Use a Thule toward rack and a removable towbar to shift blokes and bikes and this combo works well. All models seem to come with a good amount of kit. I am guessing they will be discontinued at some point soon as they are based on the old focus chassis.

try scumpymac for used macs, based in the south but do national delivery with a good warranty

Just like all of life you may just need to compromise. We needed a large 4×4 for towing a horse trailer ended up with a Nissan Murano, large, comfy, cheap (nobody wants a large petrol 4×4) and well spec’d. compromise for us was poor mpg but we got a good warranty from a nissan dealer, it is an 05 car so it falls outside those stupidly big road tax bands of newer cars. have a look they might appeal, but just make sure you save up all those 5p off a litre of fuel voucher!

Yep stainburn is about five mins in the car, Gisburn less than an hour, Dalby 1.30, lakes and north Wales 2-3 hours. And plenty of other riding as well. Only thing it lacks in my opinion is being close to the sea, but we can’t have it all (sadly)

Similar thread about a couple of months ago. Are you with or without kids as that will make a difference to where you might want to be and what your main priorities are eg house cost, cycling or commuting to Leeds, Manchester etc. I live in guiseley and love it, but then again everyone loves where they live (I think!)

Not unsure if this would appeal to you, but I’ve got an unwanted insurance replacement coming next week in the form of a canondale badboy. It’s the version with discs, 27 speed slx kit and rigid 1.5 fork. Mail me as per profile if you are interested,.

Desire Z owner here, fab phone and they come with a two year guarantee as well which is a bonus. good size screen and very robust. camera good, but not amazing, worst bit is shutter lag after button pressing. getting a case for it is a pain, as you can ly really use the pouch type. Daughter has the htc cha cha which is also very good, smaller screen, but easier on the pocket with the blackberry style design.

We’ve had a rehau for two years and have had no problems at all. we went for the outward opening version to make sure we didn’t loose space inside the house. Make sure you’ve got space outside for the door though! fitting company came back in a month after instillation to make sure all was well with the fitting as they are bloody heavy doors and can result in bits of the house moving!
