Good transport, good city centre, easy to live within a reasonable distance of city and have riding on your doorstep. house prices reasonable, leeds city council ok, but carried away with christmas lights!

nice bunch of mtb people and shops as well.

Downside: football team, distance to coast and if you lived in the south it is a bit colder.

the airtime contract is, but I think the phone is supplied by cpw, so the airtime is a thirdparty in the contract

good point iamsporticus – I am sure they will try and cross sell loads of things like insurance as well – but I am good at saying no!

No burning desire to stay with them – previously had a great home broadband service with them (which they have discontinued) but just a long term customer that doesn’t seem to be gettign much grom them

I loved working at Jessops, worked in the Norwich, New Oxford Street and Leeds branch about twenty years ago for a staturday/summer job. And yes I know what a Patterson tank, as well as cibachrome, tmax and a million one other photography bits and pieces you learnt from working there.

Five point if any former jessops staff can tell me what a JEP4003536 is or for those who joined later JESP4003536. Did anyone ever see one of those fictional FUCKIT items of stock that new staff had to find on the system?

Loved looking through people photos as well! Ohhh wasn’t meant to tell you we did that – beach holiday pics were always the best!

look out for the xperia z due in early march as it’s dust and waterproof (to 1m for thirty mins) must be on the shortlist for cycling compatability

As a Norwich City fan, that rides mountain bikes, I am very lucky as I live in Leeds!

And a big hello to the other City fans on the forum wherever you are in the country.

Yes, we’ve had a very bad run and have missed Ruddy and Holt. Hopefully we can get our mid season form back and get Hooper.

If you look back over the years we’ve always pinged up and down the leagues, trying to balance the books and make the most of low cost talent.

I wouldn’t be gutted if we went down, it’s still better than being a Leeds fan!

As a Norwich City fan I wish Mr Lambert the best of luck in finding a new job….I don’t think his former clubs will give him a good reference though..

well specced mini one convertible chipped to cooper spec, cheap to run and insure with chip declared (adrian flux) nd great fun in the sun. I really miss ours :-(

Had a 2lite petrol 4×4 tekna from new

good points, v well specced, easy to drive, four wheel drive good, brillant panaromic sun roof

bad points, dealers, had to deal with 3 and nissan HQ all shocking, loads on niggly faults, standard shock problems, xenon light unit went and cost £300 to replace as out of warranty, fuel pump went within warranty took a week to replace as there were none in uk

either buy one from a nissan dealer that has good customer care or buy a honda crv or a good estate

and the backseat doesn’t work well unless it’s three kids, but yes they are all full belts

If they continue to prove useless ask your local mp to write to them on your behalf, state that you’ve tried to resolve it with them but had no joy. They normally provide a better response via local mp, explaining what in full has happened or apologising, good luck

Have got one really p,eased with it, originally bought a Samsung model but had to return it twice as it kept freezing. The Kodak has been faultless and easy to use

    withersea

Tarquin, if they’ve p!ssed you about write to your local mp asking them to complain for you. For some reason you’ll get a much better response although it still isn’t quick

Loving my murano v6, pick one up from a nissan dealer with a cared 4 warranty. Will give you the big engine, 4×4 you are after but with a good warranty. The lack of the prestige badge makes them v good value. We use ours to tow and it will pull a small village!

Just before heading to bed one night I decide to remove the broken window latch in the kithcen that has been there for about three months. I grab a screwdriver and climb on to the work surface in my socks. to reach the screw I need to stretch at which point I slip and then it all goes downhill…and I end up on the floor in pain, I stand-up only to fall down again as I am little confused. This is what happend:

As I slipped I stabbed my left hand with with the scew driver, ouch! On the way down I try to stop myself and put my handout….into a cactus, ouch. My shins leave most of the skn on the edge of the work surface..ouch and then I am on the floor, bump. Not realising what I’ve done I put my hands out to push myself up. pushing the cactus thorns furher into my hand……ooowwwwwww. I fall down again.

I slowly walk up the stairs to ask my wife for help, who laughs a lot.

I’ve learnt never to do DIY last thing at night and have removed all of the cacti from the house.

have the same issue and moved over to a giro xar which fits well. the l/xl variants will be in the sales in the new year. On a related theme can anyone recommend a large ski helmet? sadly my large/xl giro rubs on the front of my head!

Levi is fantastic, one or two day trips are stupidly expensive. Go for a week after Xmas and tell the kids they are seeing Santa having a rest after Xmas.
