How breathable are any of these? I have a similar style jacket without a hood and it’s like boil in the bag… I only wear it for work so it’s not a problem as I just walk from the office to the car in it, but I couldn’t imagine wearing it for something active.

Saw a guy doing deliveries on a cargo bike in Leeds looking like he was struggling to hold it up with the weight of parcels in the rush hour traffic. It didn’t look like fun. Pm me if you want to know the company name.

Got the contigo mugs and when it comes to drinking out of them I can’t even tell what it is that I’m drinking, it just tastes of metal. What am I doing wrong? Tried cleaning regime of bicarb etc etc. Do any of the products named above mean my coffee will still taste of coffee when I want to drink it? Cheers.

If you smash the screen the chap in the local repair shop will suck his teeth, shake his head and tell you that he can’t fix it or quote you £100 plus, whereas most other phones can be fixed by buying some bits from eBay for a few quid.

Slippy Rx100s (or any other camera) can also be made less slippy with some tactically placed sugru.

Worked at a dome for many years and politely removed many a chancer who thought they could rock up without a lesson. (This includes skiers and boarders; skiers the most dangerous as it’s easier to get to the top of the slope and turn yourself into a missile. Snowboarders tend to be flailing around on the floor unable to work out how to stand up once they have put the board on).

Please don’t think you can blag it or that a 90 minute lesson 1 will be enough.

If you do manage to blag it, without learning proper technique you are only holding yourself back from learning to ride properly.

I’m looking for a portable speaker with an integrated USB charger E.g JBL Charge 2+. For another room I’m also looking at amps or active speakers with integrated USB charger. Just want to cut down on the amount of plugs and wires kicking about. Any suggestions you clever people?

Hi, sorry for late reply but I drew a blank on recommendations for instructors in Flaine. Do plenty of lessons in the dome – until they feel nice and comfortable, as it’s quite a big step to take it to a real mountain, then ESF or ESI, or whoever else you find. They will love it! Sorry!

A school with BASI instructors, preferably dedicated snowboard will provide continuity with the lessons in the dome. I’ve taught/coached snowboarding for years and don’t know what an uphill swing is.

After 3 hour long lessons in a snowdome it’s unlikely that he will have been on the main slope and used a lift. Which resort as I’m sure we can come up with some suggestions of ski schools as alternatives to the ESF.

Will they not foul on your garmin mount? Mind do a little bit.
