A bit more expensive but they do start at £35.

    Broad haven Pembrokeshire

There are summer time restrictions on dogs for a section of the beach but the best bits towards Little Haven to South are restricted.

Pembrokeshire tends to be very dog friendly generally and there are loads of self catering options.

but it does make me feel better psychologically

    AaaaaRrRrrRrRggGgGgGHhhhhhhhhhHHHHh!

    You have some issues mate.

What has fashion got to do with it?
Shaving with DE razors is cheaper and better.
Most males do it 5 – 7 times a week, so why would you not want to make cheaper and better?
Middle class? WTF?? Shaving with a different razor from you???
    Metrosexual???

    Have you started shaving yet?

I am not totally unhappy with sound, I just like tinkering with stuff.

Also, I have a slightly more obscure reason, I have recently moved house and have set up both my AV and stereo in the living room.
I use the same speakers for both, my AV amp is connected to the Linn by it’s pre-outs into a spare input. It all works fine, however, the AV amp is an Arcam which uses the same remote codes as the Linn, which means if I turn the volume up or down it changes both amps and I just want it adjust just the AV amp. I though a different make would also solve that problem.

I might get in touch with Linn regards servicing costs and get both amp and cd serviced.

    Isn’t it just a choke?

Start it on rich and wind it back as it warms through.

If it starts at all your doing well! Old outboards are the most abused and unreliable machines on the planet!

I have just been told by a showroom that the ballpark cost would be about £1500, for the flue, that is based on passing through an outside wall on the ground floor and running up the outside of the house.

I thought that might of been on the high side and was expecting about £1000 from what totalshell said. However, that seems cheap compared to vaders quote!

I have found a couple of local installers on the HETAS website and will give them a ring for a quote.

You can use a normal xbox video and audio cable at the same time as hdmi.

If you use one of these you can connect to pc speakers, or an amp.

    Thanks again Darcy.

Is it worth paying for the branded stuff – Kahrs, Junckers? Or the cheaper unbranded stuff? Can you recommend any websites?

The fitting should be pretty simple, but it will part of a much larger renovation, central heating, plastering etc. I’m still scoping out my options.

    Darcy,

What is the going rate for fitting per sq metre? I was thinking along the lines of about £18? Is that a bit optimistic?

When I said hardwood, I should of been clearer, I would be happy with engineered. Not wanting laminate though. That leaves about £30 per sq metre for the flooring.

I am close or do I need to up the budget?

    Thanks for the help.

    Thanks for that Nobby.

But they seem to be a bit out of my price range. They seem to start at about £60 sq metre supplied and fitted.

I’m looking for about £40 – £50 per sq metre.

Do you travel with others from your work?

Have you considered an apartment if you are going to be there for more than a week?

If there are 3 of you, you could get a decent place between you.

A lot more comfortable than hotels and you eat a lot better to.

Most bike magazines are particularly rubbish.

How many times can you test and review pedals/saddles/gloves etc.

I agree with TheBrick they also seem very expensive compared to “proper” books, you can buy route guides for between £7 – £10, excellent maintenance info for free on the web, not sure what future they have.

    Miele.

I got mine s/h off ebay for £70.

Had it 3 yrs now no problems – weighs ton though!

I had a Bosch before that which I could lift on my known – the Miele is almost like a washing machine.

Why would you build such a high end frame with cheap forks, EA30 bars etc?

    I’m still confused.

Was it “No parking” or parking for Mosque goers only?

Closing a road and stopping parking altogether is completely difference.

Did they issue parking permits for a defined period?

    I agree Trailmonkey.

Where does the racism come in?

The only way it could be racist would be to suggest Muslims should not be given the same support for their freedom to worship as other faiths.

Alpin – what are you/your cousin angry about? Do you think the parking restrictions were only put in place because it was a Mosque and the same support wouldn’t be given to a Christian church?

    winston_dog

So it wasn’t “No parking”? If the people visiting the Mosque were allowed to use the spaces.

How did the police know who was who?

Seems very strange. They put no parking signs near where I live when the sports club is having a big event. But the people visiting the event are not allowed to park either.

I will be putting the body armour and 6″ travel bike in the back of the BMW and driving 75 miles to a trail centre later today.

I will ensure I drive at the speed limit all the way and when I get to the trail centre I will brake heavily before each corner to make sure I can feel and enhance the bumps.

TJ – Have you ever done any Equality or Diversity courses?

To make assumptions and show contempt to individuals because of the way they look, dress, what they decide to eat, drive, where they live is wrong.

All people have asked for is for consideration for other road users who may need to be somewhere quicker than you.

    What’s a “petrol head” BTW?

    winston_dog

anyone who gets in your way, granny, newb or cyclist must get out of your way instantly

    Where has anyone said that?

Consideration and awareness for other road users applies to everyone.

    Even you.

I see “slow drivers” no different to someone parking in a dangerous or inappropriate manner. Yes it’s the responsibility of the driver to pass a badly parked car, but it is foolish to pretend that a badly parked car can’t in anyway be responsible for an accident

    Absolutely Ernie.
All accidents have a number of factors that come together and cause the end result.
I was on an A road the other day, stuck in a line of traffic caught behind a car doing 35 – 40 mph. If they are not in a hurry then pull over and let people get on with their lives.
The worst ones are the numpties that trundle along a 60mph road at 40mph, then continue at this speed through villages with 30 mph limits, blissfully unaware of their surroundings.
From what I’ve seen these are the drivers that seem to have poor control of their vehicle, braking on corners, squeezing cyclists etc.

? I’ve never paid it and I use Bristol airport quite a lot – longest I’ve queued has been about 15 mins – usually more like 5. Don’t really see that as something to get stressed about

Try it at 7 in the morning mate.

The queue stretches from the security, down the stairs and across the main departure hall.

Bristol Airport has the worst security process in the UK.

They deliberately process slowly so you are almost forced to purchase “fasttrack” for a £5.

    No free plastic bags either.

    And they charge for trollies!

I’m surprised that so many of you would prefer the N – S option for the descents.

The descent into Kinlochleven from the South, has to be the best on the route.

I have a Carradice SQR tour, 18 litres and has d rings for strapping stuff to.
I belive they are good for 10kg.
Used it for some lightweight touring recently and it is just the ticket.

Not sure if the cost varies with the size of the breed!

In fact, it could be considered more difficult on smaller dogs! less to get a hold of.

I think that is about right. Luckily for the dogs it involves general anaesthetic so that puts the costs up.

I would do it in the other direction for starters. Mainly for the descent into Kinlochleven.

You have a section of carrying for about 10 – 15 miles at the top of Loch Lomond – that can be missed out by using the ferries and a short road section.

There is also a lot of walkers – obviously, fit a bell, makes a lot of difference, most walkers are fine as long as they know your coming.

I’m not sure what your actually asking but if you want to convert grid positions into Lat/Long use this:-

    OS grid program

    or OS grid on line

You could then plot them on Google Earth.
You can plot the grid positions with autocad and then geo reference the result, needs a bit of knowledge though.

Do you like a drink when your on holiday?
If so you might find the P&O Cruises deals the best, the drinks were basically the same as UK pub prices, that was 7 yrs ago when I worked for them mind!
May sound a bit strange but $5 or $6 a bottle can get a bit tiresome!
All the cruise lines cater for different markets and within fleets they have ships for different types of passengers. Do a bit of research before booking.
I can recommend Norwegian cruising if you like dramatic scenery and something a bit different from the Med.
