Rode the first 24 miles and the last 18 miles of this yesterday (everything to the right of Ambleside) This is going to be a lot harder that I imagined!!

what won’t fit, the tyres or any guards?

Tyres are already on (2015) without problem, I’ve got some sks mudguards of some type ( had them fitted when I bought the bike so not sure of the model) and they almost work with a little help from a heat gun.

Everytime my old one has developed “the sag” I have fixed it by swapping out a single O-ring.

It did reopen but is now closed again.The owner is facing prosecution.

Any of the above but I’ve also had a rear shock bushing needing replaced that displayed similar symptoms, a bit of movement could be felt in the frame.

This if it’s a F\S frame

Currently Sat in my van parking in a quite sleepy spot just outside Ambleside eating a Chinese listening to the rain.Probably just do a couple of hours ride around Loughrigg,Iron keld area depending on the weather and beer intake.

Mine did this ended up replacing as it wasn’t in warranty as I bought the bike second hand.I think it may have been down to the shock bushing being tight and not allowing the shock to move freely

Long shot but I don’t suppose your still doing the battery box’s?

I’d try one of the 600 range (638?) they are for fitting bearings

Loctite a new bearing in if it’s not in warranty

has a similar issue on my T130, the tooth doesn’t sit into the notch enough allowing some rotation which shows its self as a loose maxle.I’ve thread locked the insert in place (only with the weak threadlock so I can get it back out if needed) and the problem is now gone.I think part of this is that I never tighten my maxle up really tight.

Unfortunately I’m back home, I did manage a good few rides, mainly around the northern end but did get up Snaefell and over to South Barrule plantation.Plenty for me to go at next year.
The ride from the mountain box to the bungalow was a bit hairy with all the bikes and cars giving it the beans over the mountain road!

Archalligan, I think that’s were I rode last year. OP is at Union Mills, I’m in my van and staying a Kirk Micheal footy ground for circle yer wagon VW meet then just bumming around for the rest of the week.

Only want to ride snaefell just to say I’ve done it really.
I’ll check out the other option though cheers.

Whats the score with Snaefell? Are you allowed to ride up the path starting at the bungalow to the top and back?

Rear are standard sizes, the front is SRAM’s own size!

Lately my lower back aches if I stand for any length of time and if I try to bend at the waist.I’m guessing it hamstring related as it I try and touch my toes I’m lucky to get passed my knees and I can feel pulling on my lower back/butt cheeks
