Anywhere from 6 to 10 hours for me. I did it last Friday with 4 others in 28 degrees and it took 10 hours. Last year I did it in 6 in cooler conditions.

@joebristol Has the new BB arrived yet? Did you need a new BB tool? First impressions, worth the money?

Thinking of buying one but can do without having to buy another BB tool

I’ve just had my roof felt replaced because I had what looked like this exact problem.

The old felt had started letting water seep though, wetting the rafter as in your pictures. If I poked at the felt it had gone brittle and crumbled to the touch.

The felt in your pictures look exactly the same type as my old felt!

Looks like it’s worth doing then!

I only mentioned Ardents because I have one kicking about in the tyre mountain, think I may have a Slaughter in there somewhere. Wheres Planet X and their cheap tyre deals when you need them!

3 weeks and no word is taking the micky,  all it would take is the fitting taking off the light I sent back.

Struggling to find the correct mounting to use and I’m not happy about having to spend more cash to sort it myself.

I know exactly what you mean , it’s all a bit amateurish.

Pretty poor that you can no longer  us it on Iphone as they are still selling it as Iphone compatible on their website.

I’ll join the FB group and see what they have to say.

    cheers

I got my current bike from MTB Monster, they sorted out a warranty issue quickly and without issue

They are local to me and are the only bike shop I use.

I had exactly the same issue, the Nano-X now uses a Igus Polymer Bushing instead of a PTFE metal bush.

This seems to wear out sooner than the metal one.I replace the plastic bush with one of these Item: 273617588544.

Lasted a lot longer but eventually wore the spindles.

A set of new spindles are only a tenner so no big deal.

Is it just me or does the grey bar on the lefthand side cut off the first letter of each line? It’s the same in IE and Chrome!

To put some figures on it, it’s a pension from when I server my time so 34 years old. I paid £600 in and now have a transfer value of £18k but it will only pay out about £300 pound a year when I reach 60.

Might be a daft question but why don’t we use wax in bearings rather than grease?

The grease in my jockey wheels doesn’t seem to last very long.

Must be the seat tube then as I don’t think there is another way in.

Going to try a bit of inner tube over the seat post / seat tube and see if that helps.

    @damascus

I’ve noticed my bottom bracket area is also full of water.

I think it’s either coming down the seat post or in the dropper cable hole on the back of the seat tube.

I’m tempted to drill a hole to let it out.

I wear a pair of cheapo ebay ones with both waterproof pants and shorts if its wet but warmish.

Keep the water splashes out of your shoes and the bottom of my legs/pant are clean enough when you remove the gaiters to go in the pub for a swift pint without changing.

Will there be a GPX of the route so I can spend the next 6 months on “practice” rides around the Lakes ;-)

Not really impressed with my MT500 either, OK for the first few rides then wetted out very quickly.
The seam in the pocket then came undone and several others started to lift.

Sent it back under warranty and did get a new jacket back but took 6 weeks to sort out, although I think this was down to the shop rather than Endura.
Hoping the new jacket performs a bit better.
