Dependind on what size you're wanting i've just had an 18"x12" done at costco for £1.99 yes £1.99. Quality is spot on and better than a lot of other we based companies i've used in the past. Also did it via the internet and it was ready to collect within 30mins.
Sadly they can't do a height bigger than 12" due to their printing setup limitations. For £1.99 though you can't go wrong. Hope it helps
windydave13Free MemberI topped up mine myself. Got a kit from Halfords for about £16 that not only recharged but apparently sealed small leaks as well. Only took a few minutes to do and the hardest part was removing all the plastic covers to get at the valve.
Been working a treat since then and cold as it was when new 8 years ago :lol:windydave13Free MemberI went with the Unipart LHM oil part number GBF6103. Cost about £4 for a litre. Replaced out the old oil on my XT's front and rear and have had no issues what so ever. Also with having a litre i wasn;t too fussed about wasting any oil so made bleeding a hell of a lot easier
When you say it doesn't work are the levers spongy or just no bite??
windydave13Free MemberWindsurfing, kitesurfing and fettling with the new boat
windydave13Free MemberI've got mine hooked up to a Panasonic SA HE7 Dolby Digital Receiver via optical. The amp is then linked to a suite (5.1) of eltax speakers. 2 fronts, 2 rears, centre and sub. Originally ran without the sub, but adding that in made a huge improvement.
Only problem with it is, the reciever won't decode DTS so a little annoying for some films but for COD MW2 it's spot on.This little bad boy has multiply digital inputs, so you can hook the SKY box, PS3, MD, etc directly in.
Hope it helps

windydave13Free MemberIf i was drunk i could accept a momentary lapse in concetration, sadly it was 4 in the afternoon and i was still at work :)
Then again last time i was drunk and bidding I did end up with an S-works Enduro for a very good price so can't complain. That was 6 yers ago though
windydave13Free MemberThe thought of doing a bit of DIY fibreglassing and fitting an outboard had crossed my mind, but reckon jet could be worth a giggle.
The engine looks peachy, could just be a challenge plumbing and wiring it all in, not really knowing what goes where.Watch this space
windydave13Free MemberYou need to spray it white, and hire some Ukrainian prostitutes…
I'm liking this idea.
I've been requested to captain several booze cruises today at work, which could get messy.
The way things are looking at the moment, i may have to hold the parties with her sat on the trailer!! Would definitely save a bit on the jungle juice :P
windydave13Free MemberI'm hoping to do Good Friday, but if the weather is pants it'll get knocked on the head. Don't fancy the idea of spending 2 hours in a cloud with zero visibility :?
If we do do it you're welcome to come along, but i must warn it will be a real slow mince uphill  I think there's only 2 of us at the moment but the more the merrierThat video is awesome as well. I started to wonder if i could gaffer tape my canon 500D to my head to get some HD video. Perhaps not my finest thought 8O
windydave13Free MemberTi29er, Oh yes i'm sure there'll be multiple pints of tea at the end of it.
Cheers for the heads up on the "R" turn, read a few articles where folk have done that so would like to keep the walking back uphill to a minumumHow wide is the decent on the Ranger? Are we talking motorway or skinny sheep trail? I'm assuiming with it being Snowdon the masses will have worn a fairly heafty track.
I'm getting quite psyched for this now. Might go and have a fettle with the old girl in the shed and get her battle ready
windydave13Free MemberIt's sounding better by the minute. The phrase "Smoke me a kipper i'll be back for breakfast" springs to mind. If it all goes to plan with an early start i could be getting a cheeky afternoon windsurf or kitesurf in at this rate
windydave13Free MemberTi29er seems we're on the same wavelength.
Read the same review as yourself and fingers crossed if the weather is peachy on Good Friday planning a summit attempt.Saying that though, depending on the reviews you read the difficulty varies from a nice walk to 70% rideable.
I'm planning a slow but steady cruise up from Llanberis and then down the Ranger path and then a cheeky hoss back across for a bacon butty in Petes Eat's. Hoping it won't take the estimated 5-6 hours that you see mentioned in places. If you do it before Good Friday let me know how you get on.

windydave13Free MemberNot so much an app, but one i'm loving at the moment is TVCatchup.com[/url] bookmark the page on your home screen and you can watch all the free to air channels for free with only about a 30s delay from the live.
Works peachy over 3G so no need to be hooked up to wireless.Other than that i use runkeeper to log my rides and view/share the map afterwards

windydave13Free MemberIt could be that you need to manually assign the USB a drive letter. Sometimes happen if there is a conflict with another drive.
In XP go to Administrative tools in control panel, then open up "Computer Management". you should have a tree structure on the right. Towards the bottom under storage you should have disk Management. Click on this and this will show all the disks connected. Have a look for your USB stick. If its there with no drive letter assigned right click on it and choose "Change drive letter and paths". Just manually choose a letter that isn't used. It should now show in My Computer. If it isn;t you might want to check that the USB ports are working. If it's recently been rebuilt then it might be missing the USB drivers. Check the device manager under the hardware tab in system properties found in the control pannel.
Hope this helps

Davewindydave13Free MemberBetws y coed was fine on Sat. Very very wet and some sluch/ice in places but overall rather peachy.
windydave13Free Memberi did my first off road triathlon last year (Eireman X) and from looking at the time splits, as you said it the transitions are really where you can gain or loose masses of time. Rather than keep changing shorts have a look at tri shorts. They have light padding to ease the pain but are comfortable enough to run in. You could go the whole hog and get a proper tri suit!!!
As for shoes i cycled in my running shoes as there were several over waist deep river crossings on both the cycle and run so little point in putting dry shoes on. Additionally the triathlon i did was through some sand dunes with some sections that we were forced to get off the bikes so the running shoes were handy for sprinting up the dunes.
Hope this helps and good luck with the race
windydave13Free MemberPerhaps there is an error on the SD card, or it needs scanning to check for errors. I had somehting similar last week. Put some pics on it for my old man and then when he tried to extract it said the card was corrupted and needed formatting. In the end had to format and recover the images manually. Have you tried connecting the camera direct, to check that it can read the card properly?
windydave13Free MemberNot sure as to why but you can force explorer to restart quite easily.
Open up task manager (Usually Ctrl+Alt+Dlt)
Click on the processes tab and then go to file > New Task and type explorer.exeThis will reload the start menu and desktop items so you should be able to access the card.
Hope it helps
windydave13Free MemberJust bought myself a 500D today. If you buy it before the 20th of this month you can claim an additional £50 cash back from Canon, so brings it down to just over £500.
If youve already got a 300D can you not buy the 500D as body only then use the lens you already have??windydave13Free MemberHaving looked at the extra properties of your pic compared to other Flickr users, the only difference i can see is perhaps the dpi and image size that the camera is saving. It might be worth checking that the camera hasn't defaulted back to lesser image quality settings. My Fuji for example when the battery is changed looses all its settings and reverts back to low quality images so more pics can be taken. Something simple but definitely worth checking!!
Other than that, some excellent shots keep up the good work
windydave13Free MemberWhat kind of tyre preasure is everyone running? After inspiration from this thread, just made some from some old Tioga DH's. At the moment running them pretty firm but just wondering how low i can go before it all goes wrong!!!!
windydave13Free MemberThat's got to be one mighty fine chineese to make it worth the drive from Cork to Skerries!!!!
windydave13Free MemberTry this link http://www.coillteoutdoors.ie/?id=52&trail_type=2&x=31&y=15
There are a couple of trail centres more Limerick way which are meant to be awesome. There is an article in this months MBR.
Personally i mainly rode Ballinastoe in Wicklow which was short but has a real mixture of technical fast singletrack along with some nice xc. I also rode Derroura in Galway but it didn't suit my riding style.
Hope this helps. It's strange coming back to the UK where there are so many more riding options from trail centres to proper XC
windydave13Free MemberGive http://www.onestop-digital.com a go. Based in Hong Kong but just got my old man a Canon EF S 55-250 for £60 cheaper than John Lewis and £30 cheaper than Amazon. Went for the free delivery and arrived in under 10 days. Can't fault them and they even refund any VAT if you get charged!!
windydave13Free MemberPretty much so. There's a dude in the states who does all manner of kits depending if you need a whole new freehub or just the bushing. Try this link to his listings: http://shop.ebay.co.uk/jbosboom/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_from=&_ipg=&_trksid=p4340
I recently stripped mine down and i have to say it was very simple. Just keep an eye on the pawls so they don;t spring away into the distance. Also everyone recomends a certain oil to re-lube. I think it's Pedros Road Rage Lube which cost about £2 from CRC.
The other thing to watch out for is the bearing in the freehub itself. I though mine was fine but after rebuilding i found that it sounded like i had a twig in the spokes when i rode. At first i thought some of the spokes were loose but my LBS tracked it down to the bearing in the freehub itself. They pressed a new one in and its good as new.
Hope it helps

Davewindydave13Free MemberI'm using one at the moment as a trail jacket. Been out in the rain, mud and dry with it and can't fault it. As trio25 said, they are a little short in the arm so i had to take a size up but with christmas on the way there's plenty of space for some expansion!!
I went for the red one which isn't quite as bright as the yellow! Nice little feature on the rear to attach an LED, although not sure i'll need one for hossing round the trails.
I managed to get mine cheap from Merlin Cycles. Currently selling them t £69 for which the day i went they had an extra 10% off. Perhaps not as high performing as some of the other jackets but at the price i'm not worried about destroying it if i stack it on the bike which i'm sure i'll have done before the winter is out.
