As everyone has suggested, go rent one of these from somewhere like HSS or Speedy. You’ll have it done in no time

I could do with a doze now

The public need to know who many rashers were on that?? Bonus points if it had a Greggs pasty on it as well

Binners, I reckon so, as long as there are more than 4 rashers of bacon :)

Working on the basis it will make me faster downhill

I’ve had a slice of cheese on toast, 2 rahsers of bacon, scrambled egg and 2 hash browns

All part of my “get lean” for Christmas regime

    We use the Jabra ones.
Not the cheapest but work a treat even with 8+ people round a table.

Just take them for a ride down the Trans Pennine Trail, although they might just go from “bedded in” to “nothing left” after 40km!!

Forgot how gritty it was down there. Very much like riding at Kielder in the wet!! 8O

Depending how mechanically minded you are, the fuel pump isn’t that difficult to change. I did mine on the drive just following the Haynes manual. Hardest bit was locking the flywheel to get the nut holding the auxillary pully on undone. Once you have that off, the timeing belt comes off easily enough and the rest is simple.
    Just take your time

Looked tough from where I was sat in the Shoulder, tucking into roast beef and a pint of Landlord.
Good effort to everyone who completed it

38mm by the looks of some of the older drawings here http://www.raceco-mtb.com/marzocchi/

Try UKBikeStore for marzocchi parts or the likes of J-Tech for SKF seal kits http://j-techsuspension.co.uk/pages/products/service-parts.php

I swapped the specialized AFR shock out for an RP23 for about £85 off eBay. Transformed the bike massively although I added a volume spacer to the air can.

    I’d ditch the AFR personally!!

Exactly the same thing on my enduro.
I used the blind bearing puller, although I got nowhere with the slide hammer. In the end I used the blind puller along with a drift and hammer. Took way more effort than expected but got there.

    ….which might exclude forks).

I sent a set of 55’s recently and had no issues.
    Perhaps I was lucky

I just use MyHermes. I can drop off at a time that suits me and significantly cheaper plus better online tracking.

Even a 5kg parcel to Orkney only took 3 days and cost about £6

Some discussion here as well about having to get the length correct.

Do http://www.ukbikestore.co.uk/ not sell that part anymore??

What about the line used for kitesurfing???
The loading should be fine, just not sure about the wear resistance

I could be wrong, but as the bike was bought in 2009, is it not the warranty at that point of time that stands and not their current warranty??
If so, i can;t see anyting that implies the rear swing arms only have 5 years!!

When i snapped my old Enduro they were very good, however i went via the local concept store rather than the LBS. I even proved purchase via a bank statement as i didn;t have the original receipt

Cheers guys. Thats the plan. Never understood why anyone would ever push up Garburn for what is essentially a fireroad decent. Even when it was washer out the other winter it didn;t look that entertaining.

Each to their own i suppose.

Good call on the beer hall. Might have to pick up another crate whilst i’m there

What we need is a cones hotline!

Not seen that yet, but there are lovely little yellow signs telling you exactly what bridge or overpass you are on!!

I assume thats in case the “workers” get lost. Either that or to aid the number of drunk folk who seem to be using the M60 as a footpath at the moment

If you do go with it, make sure the payment clears before you send anything. The usual trick is to pay with a non verified account. PayPal hold the payment until it clears which never happens. In the meantime the buyer will try and blag you to send it before it clears/bounces.

As above. If it seems dodgy it probably is. You could suggest you ship it for him. May scare him off

I’ve used methylated spirits on my ESI’s.

No issue as all in fitting and removal

Pizza oven is next on my list. Just built a tandoori oven from an old bin, and a plant pot. I’ve since added sand all around it to add extra insulation.

Still experimenting with fuel to get it really hot, but the kebabs and Naan bread are awesome

Oil pressure sensor?? Had similar with the temp sensor on my 307 HDI. The sensor was all over the place. Some days it worked others it didn’t.
    £3 part fixed it.

Had this recently with my Enduro. In the end I used a blind bearing puller to grip what was left of the outer race then used a drift to knock it out. Took a fair bit of time and more effort than I expected but once it started to move it came out quite easily.

Puller was about £25 off eBay

only very small difference in fuel economy maybe 5mpg.

I went from a normal 53mpg to struggling to get 37 last time i used a roof mounted rack.

From now on bikes take priority. Passengers can take the bus!!

    Is this close enough?? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MERCEDES-BENZ-SL350-500-R230-WIND-DEFLECTOR-/251567247523?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item3a929390a3

Brackets and shape of the trim running round the outside looks pretty spot on!!

    I reckon Mercedes!!

It doesn;t match the shape of the MX5, S2000, BMW or French ones so i reckon Merc!!

    Is there a prize??

Check all the intake pipes are fitted together correctly. I had one move between the maf and the turbo so it was sucking in air after the MAF. ECU was getting confused thinking no air was going in so struggled to get to 40mph.

No errors showed and even at idle nothing showed out of place. Only by running my hand along the pipe did I discover one of the joints had come apart

SEAT Exeo TDI. Comfortable, economical and significantly cheaper than the quivilent A4. The dash is from the old A4 Cabrio so rather pleasant inside.

Get 50+mpg on long runs with 2 lots of bike kit inside and 2 adults. Mines a 2010, but the newer ones have more rear leg room i believe
