Try Dunster house. I just finished the below. Insulated the floor and roof, the walls are 45mm thick but you can go bigger. Cost including base, cabin, electrics and roof insulation was just shy of 4k

You can’t just hand it back during the running contract…. Well you could but I would assume you would be in negative equity. You need at least 50% ownership before you are entitled to your credit agreement rights.

I was in a similar position 18 months ago working for a bio-tech company as a commissioning engineer/ validation engineer.I ended up moving into technical sales where I could transfer my existing skills. Sales has given me much more flexibility and the long stints away has reduced to the odd day each month.

I had some recent quotes for pollarding a sycamore tree. Quotes were anywhere between 600 to 1000.

I wouldnt expect any change out of 800 for what you are asking.

Depends on what type of air con application. If its chillers rather than spilt (VRF) systems then its more straight forward.

I work for Carrier, I’ll happily take a look at the system you currently have and see if something can be done with your existing make up.

Depends on where you are I suppose. I just rang a local ready mix company, price for 1.5 cubic meter was around 200 quid.

If it’s leased you just need to ring the lease company and ask for a VE103 form. Costs a tenner and you can add additional drivers. It’s all I’ve done for the past few years.

Hmm thought that seemed fair. The price includes them digging 40m of trench and clearing the rest.

£1200 quid is a mental price for a room that size. For reference I just paid 460 for a room 13ft x 25ft. Two of the walls required two levels of bonding to get them level. That price included PVA, bonding and finishing coats.

Plastikote spray with a plastic primer would be more suitable then paint.

It’s a niche market because nobody else seems to suffer with your problem.

Just add more air into the shock would help resolve the issue.

Battery turned up today. Very well sealed with top panasonic batteries. And the case it comes in to fix to bike is the best I’ve seen.

Thanks all. I have asked our HR dept for clarification, but apparently this is proving to be more complicated for them then I expected.

Technically I would be using my own car though as I would be funding it through the car allowance?

As above, specifically hydrogen peroxide. 3-5% concentration should be enough.

It will oxidise on the surface though and turn white initially. Once applied, dilute and wipe down with water and give it a quick rub with light sandpaper to remove any residue.

nice video, the lad is clearly showcasing his talent.

Pussywillow I can almost guarantee this chap is ten times the rider you are. His enduro results and sponsorship deals seems to back that up. Plus in his defense he carries himself in the MTB community world apart from your online ramblings.

Most awesome bike ever – fact!

It really depends on what the conviction is for.

I had a clean license for 10 years and caught doing a naughty speed. I was issued a court summons and offered 6 points and a sizeable fine. You just need to take it on the chin and suck it up. However if you are already on 9 points then you’re stuffed.

    Good luck!

I think your idealistic view of how this process works is not going to hold much weight with the manufacturer.

Bikes are sold primarily through marketing and secondly through solid product development not because of one guys opinion.

If it was me I would start talking to the sales channel manager at the bike manufacturer. You need to ask how they would support you, discuss any T&C’s, what is in the product pipeline, understanding your part in their company structure is key.

They wont make any commitments until you become credible, and neither should you.

As a distributor you might make 20-30%. For these margins you to need manage stock, agree a payment terms with your supplier, cover all UK marketing costs including any trade shows. Manage staff, delivery and warranty in the UK.

Shipping and stock is the least of your worries, this is something that you cant really control and is left in the hands of your supplier. Sales and marketing strategy should be your primary focus.

    No problem!

You are right about the tanking, but I think with bathrooms/wetrooms the belt and braces approach is required.

Best way to fix the riser tray to the concrete floor?

    wilsonthecat
    Free Member

Ok, more clarification needed I think.

The walls are square, however there is a gap. I pushed the shower tray tight to one end where it sits square along its face. I’ve measured the gap correctly this time and I have between an 8mm to 9mm gap.

In theory if I reposition the tray this leaves a 4-5mm gap either side.

Tiles aren’t being used as previously mentioned as I will be installing shower panelling. The panels are 10mm each plus the dot and dab adhesive will give me 12mm for each panel.

This means each board will be overlapping the tray by at least 7mm.

I think I will scrap the riser tray and lay it on a bed of cement over a ply raised plinth.

Now will this still be a compromise and should the above be OK?

Leak prevention is number one on the list

EG- If the tray is lined up and equidistance between the two walls the gap is 6mm each side. The panels are 10mm deep, so it does cover it but not as much as I would like.

Thanks, for the answers so far.

Could the space between the tray and outer walls be filled with wedi or something similar? I’m trying not add to the walls above the top of the tray as the walls continue round and it would look odd with the extra space added.

The panels are actually ‘Showerwall’ (similar to mermaid) and the installation instructions recommend the panels are dropped onto the tray and finished using either the showerseal system or by leaving a 3mm gap and backfilling with silcon.

Any thoughts on fixing the riser kit to the floor, adhesive?

Most showers seem to leak due to movement in the tray itself, I’m trying to avoid that and looking for the best solution now!

Head over to Christianshavn, in particular Pusher Street, there are lots of ‘cafes’ pubs, street artists and much more. Christianshavn is also near the old harbour which is a fantastic part of Copenhagen, loads of decent bars and restaurants. You can also hire a canoe from here and see the main galleries and opera house as you travel along. Once you’ve had enough just hop off onto one of the bars located along the river/sea.

A painted wall sounds an awful idea.

As an alternative to tiles or wet wall I would try either vistelle or lustolite. An acrylic based shower panel which looks like glass.

    I think B&Q stock it.

Tv is around 4 years old,,although it still provides a better picture than most modern units which means I’m reluctant to get rid of it. The eggs I mounted by drilling through the stand bracket.

Moved house now, and I have gone back to a simple tv stand…. It doesn’t look anywhere near as neat and professional!

    Something like this?

Dummy chimney breast, recess was measured and spaced accordingly. Used louvered vents in the hole to provide ventilation. The av equipment was located below with the cables hidden in the voids.

Gettin the right type of mounting bracket was the biggest pain. I tried the L shaped swing brackets but in he end I just used a standard hook type.
