I’d just use Barrentine log cabin preserver. Easy to apply and just top up when needed. Gives a nice clear for finish and is oil based for extended wood life

I’m 5’8 and have a medium. Large would be way to big in my opinion. The extra length in top tube is definitely noticeable even with a 35mm stem

So your brother builds a successful business through his knowledge and skill and because you’re his brother you think you should be entitled to your share. In the meantime he needs to train you but reward you with a Directors cut?

I’m pretty sure I know what my brother would say to me if I came knocking on his door with some big ideas!

For pellets I just went to a wood stove shop as they had 6mm pellets for bio-mass boilers.

The 6mm burn just as well. I paid a fiver for a 10kg bag.

The store was Robeys in Belper

I suggest you take your head out of your arse and go do some travelling around poorer parts of the world and then tell us if you feel the same.

Definetly look at Nottingham. The past five years has seen massive amounts of regeneration.

It even has its own version of the oyster card for use with the tram, train and buses.

It’s an hour to the Peak District or the likes of Cannock, access to the A1 and M1 is very good. Shopping and restaurants are of good quality.

The likes of Derby and Ilkeston are miles behind in terms of growth.

Look at places like West Bridgeford for the South of Notta. Beeston for being more Central and areas such as Calverton for the North.

The quality of the drawing will vastly effect the quality of the print.

In terms of material you are looking at two options. One will provide the high resolution but will not really serve a practical function. The other technology will be production grade but look a bit crap.

Yes, I’m sitting here thinking I should go with the additional functions of the Sport, over the looks and M badges on the M sport…

I wouldn’t go with the sport, it looks bobbins compared to the M sport spec

It won’t have mounts. It’ll live inside the armrest whilst charging via USB.
Interesting I’d never thought of just using the voice instructions, I might give that a go.

Doesn’t seem unreasonable to me, especially considering the amount of time travelling to and from. Although I do question why he didn’t have a fibre washer on his van, even if he had ran out I would expect a considerate technician to pop down to local merchant’s.

At the end of the day, if you can’t drain/isolate a system and replace a washer yourself I don’t see how you can complain about a standard call out cost.

Spokes coming loose then trying to pick up the relevant spares.

The rims aren’t particularly wide and certain tyres seem to fit best when using tubeless. Play in the front hub.

The 28H rim on the rear has now been replaced due to dings and dents.

My flows/hopes lasted well over two years.

I cant understand why they got such good reviews. Wheels should be fit and forget. My Oozy’s have been an absolute pain!

I would go with the Hope Enduro. I have had the Spank Oozy for eight months and ride South Derbyshire. The rear has two or three severe dents and dings in and the straight pull spokes now come loose after each ride. The rim is also 28H which does not provided the required strength.

I emailed both the distributor and Spank directly with no response.

I wont make the mistake next time and will stick with Hope.

And how is it affecting your gardens? The smoke should only last for 10 – 20 mins whilst warming up unless they are using wet wood. If that’s the case just have a word with them rather than grassing them up to the local council.

I’m inclined to agree with the OP. Cycling is permitted along the Cromford canal and although its wise to try and avoid it on a weekend the amount of self righteous walkers is getting worse. I had 2 couples last weekend who refused to outright move even though a polite request was made on both occasions.

    Bravo I say!

    Yep that’s the one.

The misery owns the two fields the footpath runs on. We no longer use this route. We try to access the last 20 m of said footpath via another gate which he also owns and has now “Steve mcqueened” with barbwire.

With reference to the police said man accused me of being threatening during one altercation. Hence avoiding him since.

His is indeed a cantankerous old git! I gave up on that part and now just loop round to Blackrock via the car park and climb up. Alternatively before you drop down the hill to the gate in question there is a farm track which takes you to the bottom of the Bull descent on Blackrock itself.

I guess the barbwire is to discourage/stop you lifting a bike over? Nice.

Would love to speak to the Landowner but it looks miles out from where I normally ride.

I have the Bosch one from the link above. I think its a great a little mower. Consequently I don’t actually use it anymore as I have a petrol mower as I moved and needed something bigger.

If you’re in Nottingham you can have it for 30 quid if that helps.
