do you need the special rockshox tool for replacing the seals on a Pike or can you utilise a suitably sized socket?

lower leg oil change is easy enough but would like to do this bit too

Scottish Water are slowly picking up the pace with their next investment period so the key delivery partners may be resourcing up again

    Farrans
    Jacobs
    Morrison Construction Ltd
    George Leslie
    Scottish Water Solutions 2/Veolia Water
and some of the other consultants

    good luck

Ran mine (its got the DT shock) with the recommended sag and its ok but wasnt getting all the travel. I let a wee bit of air out and the brace across the seatstays clobbered the seat tube. Put another few psi back in and all was well-getting all travel etc.
I spoke to PACE about it and they obviously said it shouldnt if you run it right. They could fit a stopper in the shock if i liked to run it a bit softer than most.
Incidentlly the frame cracked at the welds (very fine hair line but there) on the shock brace after 9 months and the replaced the front end no problem.
Its got 6 months left on the 2 yr warranty so i am keeping an eye out for anymore and will be getting it replaced before the warranty runs out i fthey come back.
really like the bike as it lets me do everything on it (spain trips, xc races, Ae enduro, 24 hr etc)

    cheers

Last time i sent my pikes (454 air) to TF they said they lubde the uturn assembly as i had mentioned a cli=unking noise at full extension.

Do i just let the air out and unscrew this bit to lube this up?

not bust the drop out yet but had the front triangle replaced under warranty when cracks appeared on the shock brace welds – Pace sorted all no problem.

Had to face the rear disc mounts quite a bit too so it didnt rub

    like the bike a lot

found this on pistonheads if you are in the scotland area

    http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/1397362.htm

might need a bit of work though by the sounds of it
Loads of Suzuki SJ's on there too.

An older Subaru Legacy woudl be a good bet, lots of room for bikes in estate version and pretty solid cars – had one on LPG for a few years

I have 410mm thomson now which I am only 20 mm above min line. So I reckon a 425 mm will be best bet.

just checked mine and they have done the same same batch from CRC earlier in the year too.

Do you also get a clunking noise on compression ?

Will wait and see if leaving them upside down helps or if your moco service works? how much was the moco service kit?
