Xc hub has had no work so something just worn then

ProII – will check seal and spacer. Only did hub bearings as they were rough as. Freehub bearings were good – no play, ran smooth

Looking at the specs i don’t see any significant differences between the nexus and the fire hd.

Was thinking of the Fire but need to know more about nexus

I have some RCT3’s and just run them full open but have heard that they can be better at half open and minimal LSC.

Havent had a huge amount time to mess about with them but they are great

Simwit – how do you find the m210 shock on the 405?
Is the set compression/platform ok ?
When I had a hvr200 on mine ( before the monarch) I found it didn’t really any platform dialled in and bob was minimal

My HVR200 died and i got a monarch instead which just isnt the same.

With regard to the 405 frame it did develop a crack at one of the welds on the front triangle (shock pivot) and PACE swapped no problem. It was only a year old though.

I really like the bike as it climbs well and suits me well as i sit somewhere between xc/all day riding and this so called all mountain stuff.

damn cant see them at work – we managed 24laps in a quad so respect to Terrahawk.

Gel wrappers were disgraceful – almost every event suffers from it now.

For those with the Pace 405’s – my DT swiss bust and it was cheaper to get a RS Monarch 3.3. The difference is big in that it feels way too harsh on small stuff and seems to clatter a lot more in general across all sorts of terrain.

I am running the floodgate at full open with 30% sag. The shock has D3 tune which PACE recommended. I can tell any difference between the floodgate settings

Can i get the tune reduced does anyone know?

Do loco or Stendec do DT Swiss stuff??
