Put old chain back on ANC all is well again. Maybe rest is worn enough to cause the noise. Couldn’t be doing with it for tomorrow’s ride.

Have also heard if you leg the air out and pull them up hard it can help.
Not sure on the SIDS but on the rev if you undo the bolt at the bottom of the air leg you’ll see a valve. Depress it and the air from had neg will come out – watch for oil.
Google is your friend for checking.

Apparently there us a little port between the two chambers on solo air and it gets blocked. If you’re handy take the air cartridge out and clean it all up. Reassemble as per the online vids and it should be ok. Well it was for my revs that did the same.
They still have a neg chamber.

My revs did the same. Turn them upside down and undo the nut from the airside leg. You’ll see a valve. This is the negative chamber I believe. Depress the valve and release the air just watch for oil.

By no means a cure for any blockages but did this to mine and they’ve been fine since.

Did a strip and clean on the wife’s revs with same problem And they’ve been good too.

Did the same to my heel nearly 4 years ago now. Came off the bike at kirroughtree – 3 weeks before my wedding !!

Can bad a bit achy but no urge to take them out though.

Not happy as all other RS forks I’ve had have been great.

Back again I guess.

Got some RCT3 revelations on my solo and they’re great – when working properly :(. Having some issues with the LSC dial and dodgy lockout.

Which is a shame as all other RS forks I’ve had have been great straight out the box.

Just fancied something different today john. Most of the cheeky trails in mabie are pretty wrecked after Thursday. The wee path from the fishery to the sawmill at new abbey needed a bit of a trim too 😉

Been out about mabie and the surrounding area this morning. Trees still down on the elevator at mabie. Didn’t do much else of it as I was over troston and new abbey way too.

Lot of trees down in Dumfries area. Keep an eye on the web as I am sure they will clear most this week. Boys at Ae cafe will tell you what the score is there if you give em a call or check the cafe facebook page.

Out about mabie and troston tomorrow – will be taking the saw after last nights experience 😉

Carbon solo here. Was the full bling spec though which i wont get and was 26lb on the bathroom scales

Have also tried both and gone for the 5OLO. Felt more than capable and pretty sure i wont be under biked anytime soon.
Also read on MTBR that the rear shock has a spacer in to set at 125mm – pop it out and 140mm – ta da.
