In our case the grandparent hardly drives it so I think the 50% may be an issue. Depends how strict they are

Thanks. What’s your take on the 50% trip clause ?

Can check bead tomorrow. It was still popping on at 50psi, pumped to that with other tyres no issues previously.
Didn’t need much persuasion with levers
Years of tubeless so if this is **** I’ve done ok I guess

have requested a demo on new HT so waiting to hear back.

My 5010 V2 is from new (6 years or so). 3 sets of bearings, no other issues and its not like it sits in the shed all year, so well used. I’d say i’ve got my moneys worth and would keep my next bike same amount of time if not longer all being well

Am in similar position. V2 5010 great bike with 150mm fork and long shocked, but lucky enough to be able to change later in year. V3 HT is due August and will be similar changes as V2 MT, storage some geo tweeks am told.
Tried a TallboyV4, very quick, big wheel orig Solo ish. Not sure the one bike for me.
Not sure I’d pay extra for frame storage over a bum bag if I can get a good deal on a V2 frame.
    Will see what happens

Now if the Occam has the storage too it’ll be on my next bike list for sure

also have a 2018 Rev with debonair and Charger damper but really struggle to get it to feel great on my hardtail. Maybe just me and my tuning but tempted with a new shiny fork and sell em on

Well managed to round one of the screws holding the cover on, arse. So locked switch in place with a zip tie for now….seems ok and gears change…..
will be onto LBS tmrw for any stock as riding Golfie at weekend and dont want to die in a ball of flame 😉

instructions i followed showed grease on the shaft that the barrel sits on – sounds like thats wrong. i was very careful to reassemble everything in same orientation as before.

i’ll pop cover off tonight and check again

barrel (part the metal band goes around) is correct way up, well same as it came off

and yes it feels like the cam just isnt quite going far enough over to lock

So looks like I have CV toes too, wondered what it was. Specifically both little toes. Not had CV19 that I know of, spelled cold sweats and dizziness in DEc 20 and cold/chest cough at new year. No noticeable fatigue or other symptoms. Have had the toes for best part of 2 months now tho and trying hydrocortisone creams.
Am still cycling or walking most days for my sanity so maybe I need a break for my toes

My old Topolino saw a heap of service mid nineties in north Wales and Alps. Still going now if a little leaky it’s fine for gentle mucking about. Wouldn’t try a grade 4/5 anymore in it 🤣
I’ve had it in surf but the spray deck is poop so filled up quicker than I’d liked…

Put a debonair shaft 130mm in my 18 revelations and charger damper. They still feel harsh on small stuff most of the time a d generally a bit poop. Running 25% and 5 clicks from full fast.
    Am I missing something ???

Was there couple of weeks ago. Not a lot of climbing really, mostly down. 12000m descent in 4 days yay
Mike uses one as has to ride day after day and he was talking about some new ebike he had in. They will be decent ones.

Got caught in a heavy shower going down Sa Calbora last October….hairy !!

Quick espresso and cake at the bottom and straight back up. Came over from Porte Pollenca via LLuc and was about 60miles.

Really good riding out there for sure.

hi – i also fitted a charger 2 to mine. better but still struggling to get them just right. 130mm 29er fitted to a 2018 chameleon. Still feel a bit battered at times after riding them

Are people finding they need less air than RS recommend, what rebound are folk running -generally fast/slow etc??

No obvious play. I haven’t popped the bearings out to check. Its defo the freehub sliding on the axle as still there when all tightened up.

I’ve never worn the surface of an axle before but possible I guess ??

    willv

Yes when all tightened up and ends caps fitted same way as always/before.

Might just get a charger 2 for the Rev then as sounds easier

Will this help me with my pike rc?

Had the compression tuned so not as harsh but after a few months feel rubbish again. Just back from tf and I just can’t get em feeling right. 75psi, 1 token, 5 from full slow rebound, few clicks of lsc and I’m 13st.

Ben Macdui to Hutchinson hut, fords of Avon and up on to Bynack Mor, returning to Glenmore. Long day with plenty of carrying but the weather and views easily cancelled that out. No finer place when the weather is good.

Then blasting round Inshriach today on super dry trails.
