1 year old German Pointer, 5 miles minimum a day all off lead with the occasional half hour on lead to the shops and back, he also comes to the cafe/pub, parents etc with me so is rarely not moving around! Doesn’t seem to tire him out, try to do frisbee, fetch, swimming and training with him as much as possible to work his mind rather than his legs as I don’t think they will ever run out of steam!

Can’t wait until he is old enough to come out on the bike with me so we can kill two activities in one!

I had Fizik Aliante Vs with the cut out channel on both my bikes for 2 years and loved them, far better than the charge spoon and Giant standard saddle I had before.

I recently had a bike fit and discovered my sit bones are slightly too wide for them so I am using a specialized toupe at the minute and quite like it, taking some getting used to though. I am now selling my Fizik Aliante Vs Kium if your interested.

Great ride, no punctures for me and my mate, tough but very scenic route, jerk chicken wrap was demolished in seconds!

First ride in Am41’s last night, kept my feet dry with normal socks on, quite impressed. I was going to order the new AM9’s but wiggle have the AM41’s on sale at £42 so couldn’t resist.

I Demo’d the 2 and thought it was ace, took delivery of the 3 yesterday as couldn’t quite bring myself to spend the extra on the 2, first ride tonight, can’t wait! I am just over 6ft 4″ and the XL felt perfect!

Tried to book my Renault Kangoo in as a car on the tunnel and after entering my reg they knew it was a van and the price increased, ferry worked out much cheaper.

My girlfriend also has the wiggle honda bib tights, they are very thin so not so good on really cold days, the pad was decent though to start with but not holding out that well, her DHB roubaix vaeon have held up better which is surprising as they were cheaper!

Another vote for Morvelo stuff from my girlfriend, they have just released some bib tights too!

I own loads of morvelo stuff as I am a little obsessed with it, fantastic kit.

Quite often wiggle have it cheaper than the morvelo website and they sell it all off at the end of the season.

I have a CDF and love it, would like a High Latitude and a flyer if I can find some more money!

My girlfriend is a little over 5ft and rides an XS Giant Avail which is a 43cm frame I think! It takes mudguards and panniers so could be used as a tourer?

I have one, got it from cotswold outdoors half price a couple of years ago, fantastic jacket, more water proof than you think, and the hood is superb with the zip done up to the top. Haven’t used it for cycling only for walking, it might not be breathable enough for cycling.

I had the same problem for ages then I updated the app and now if I turn it off, turn Bluetooth on my phone on and then turn the garmin back on it connects instantly and uploads in seconds! If my Garmin is already on and then I turn Bluetooth on my phone it won’t connect at all!

I had a Giant Defy 3 and now have a Defy Composite 3 with Tiagra! The composite feels nicer to ride and I would say a little lighter but I haven’t weighed either. For commuting it has to be the Alu one though as the Defy specific mudguards are fantastic, the composite has no fittings for mudguards!

Mammoth lifestyle in Milford have been brilliant to me, had 4 bikes off them between me and my girlfriend! Always helpful, quick to sort and problems and seem reasonably priced! Did me a good deal on a Genesis CDF last week!

In my limited opinion the giants seem a bit more race orientated, I should of mentioned that I want to enable to fit mudguards!

We stayed in the Viva Tropic in Alcudia, it’s perfect for bikes with a locked bike storage place and bike shop in the hotel!

Also has a pool, sauna, steam room and gym which was nice to relax in after a day in the bike!

I can’t remember exactly how I did it but it took seconds, get the garmin connect app on your phone, turn Bluetooth on, pair the devices, turn live track on the app and type in the email of the person who wants to track, pretty sure i didn’t do anything else!

    Hope that’s is helpful !

I follow The Trailhead on twitter which is a bike shop in Shrewsbury, they organise a ride every Tuesday at either the Long Mynd or Nescliffe area, I keep meaning to go over for a ride!

This was tweeted by them today:

@TheTrailheadUK: Last nights shop ride was one of the best yet. 24 of us took on Nesscliffe’s Singletrack led by @GuppyRichard #mega http://t.co/ikghBu0Usz

Chasing Legends is quite good, it is sometimes on YouTube in full. Also on YouTube is The Road To Paris which follows Lance and the US postal team in the run up to the 2001 tour I think.

The Sky British Cycling series was good, can’t remember what it was called, again some episodes are on YouTube periodically!

Not sure of any others, would be interested myself in the suggestions.
