Not so familiar with modern stuff but going back a bit, on my list of awesome uk Hip Hop tracks are:

    Roots Manuva -Witness
    Gunshot – Crime Story
Silver Bullet – 20 seconds to comply
    Hardnoise – Untitled
    Point blank – Planting Semtex
Blade – Mind of an ordinary citizen
WBI Red Ninja – Bad Horsemen
    Killa Instinct – un-united kingdom

I could go on all night, in fact listing those has made me wanna go and dig out all my old vinyl and play it loud!

Thanks, when I pick the old bird up on Monday I’ll try fitting my Mud X 2.0s I think, see how it goes!

I wish that was a real kickstand on sailors Mojo. Pushbikes with kickstands are just hilarious, we should all have one for the comedy factor

He he I love commonly mis-spelled words. I saw an advert on ebay for a mounting bike last week

On topic, maybe if you crawled past at a sensible pace, but all guns blazing, revving the knackers off your car would probably get you some interesting glares from the occupants. Well, all apart from one.

    Seriously, these..

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/Lowther-Unisex-Boots-Wellies-W23262/dp/B000X2570S/ref=sr_1_1?s=shoes&ie=UTF8&qid=1354623439&sr=1-1

I didn’t think it was possible to be ‘over the moon’ with a pair of wellies, but I really am with mine. Comfy, warm, completely waterproof and strong, they still look as good as new after 2 year consistent dog-walking, gardening etc use. They are made by Hunter but a much better price and they fit a lot better. I tried some ‘proper’ Hunters but they were way too tight around my calves

In my first job (apprentice mechanic) I was sent to the local tool store to get a 12″ hampton with a bell-end. Luckily I figured it out on my way, but they managed to get it to work on a couple of other young lads

The instructor will tell you everything you need to know. If its a modern 600 though the brakes may take you by surprise after riding a 125, so go easy.

One things for sure though, I found it a damn sight easier riding a 600 than a 125

There are some serious bargains to be had shopping in the US. In Pittsburgh I visited a Spesh dealer, and bought a brand new command post for what worked out to be £108

Clobber – I have both high rollers 2.35 and 2.00 storm controls – about 4 days ago I swapped from the HRs to the Storms. Mounted a storm and compared directly to the HR on the other rim. Seriously, there is hardly anything in it, the HR is bigger but not by much. Both on Arch EXs by the way

Storm Controls are a pretty decent size to be fair. I have the 2.0s, and they are a little narrower, but roughly the same ‘height’ as my 2.35 high rollers (I know high rollers are a narrow 2.35 before anyone points that out…)

Awesome guys, thanks! My google skills must be lacking as I spent ages looking for something similar and found chuff all!

Chickenman: it’s quite feasible to win something but still be a loser. In the ‘finger and thumb in the shape of an L on the forehead’ sense

Bit of a fail on the age comment though, read my second post in this thread :D

Okay, English-hating comments aside, I’ll ‘shelve’ that aspect for now, still leaves him an un-charismatic miserable loser :D

And funkrodent – ‘jumped-up little hitler with a chip on his shoulder’ eh?! Woah there cowboy, tiny bit harsh wouldn’t you say? Sounds like someone else may have a chip on one or possibly even both shoulders!

Okay, so no-one could see the smile on my face when I made my comment above, but if he’s allowed to have a joke about the whole anyone but england comment, then surely I’m allowed to have one back!

Get over it peeps, phew, never been called a Nazi before. Oh, wait a minute, yes I have, I’ve had a shaved head since I was 18

Regardless of this, he’s always been Scottish. My personal opinion is that he’s an English-hating, un-charismatic, miserable loser

When asked who would he be supporting in the Rugby World Cup, his reponse was the classic anyone but England. One in the eye for all his English supporters I’d say

Oh it’s his friend who is selling it due to health reasons, I see! I’m not convinced

Aren’t all distant sales legally covered by a no quibble 7 day money back policy? Check distance selling act. And remember – if you’re arguing with a fool, he’s doing the same’ or so my Dad told me once

They are trailseeker but I’m guessing you heard bout their legendary ‘customer service’ from your smiley? If not search google, also there was a thread a while back with a link to all their negative feedback, complete with their responses. Worth checking out before parting with your hard-earned

    No

    Bought an ASR5 on Saturday

I’m so pleased about it that I’m just looking for excuses to tell people, and this thread was ideal :D

It would be quite a funny advert if I didn’t agree with you

“Folks – Fox F-Series RLC with Suspension”

Yoshimi, I just order a pair from Merlin, black, black Pro 2 evos, black spokes, 15mm QR front, 142x12mm rear. They have an additional 5% off at the moment, came to £337. From some of the horror stories I’d read about Hindes, I figured it was worth paying a little extra

As of tomorrow ASR5 with 140mm forks

Hang on, going back to my first reply on this thread, what I mean is ‘Cant see anyone who actually does use them for all their servicing and repairs joining in this thread and extolling the virtues of firing indiscriminate amounts of cash for minor jobs etc’

    Fail. I’ll get my coat

    wilko1999

Oops didn’t mean to send that, hadn’t finished!

As per a lot of other people, I use them for Fox Forx servicing really. And sometimes wheel truing if my home efforts just aren’t working.

I do still love visiting them though, Leisure Lakes Cheltenham mainly if I’m over that way. I still get that warm fuzzy feeling when I walk in and see so many shiny new bikes lined up. Plus its very rare that I walk out empty handed, even if its just some chain oil or tubes.

Can’t see anyone who actually does use them for all their servicing and repairs posting up a big ‘Yes’ on this thread to be fair! :D

 thats good news KOB, as I need all the help I can get on the way up!

Thanks for everyones help again, there will probably be a complete Titus EG in the classifieds soon, along with various other bits to help finance my Yeti christmas project! :D

Okay so pedal-induced-bob. I should hopefully be test riding one soon, but how badly does this affect its climbing ability? I’ve read that its one of the best 5″ climbing bikes, whats the real story?

Good looking stealth build pinetree. The jury’s always been out before for me with lefty’s but that looks sweet

Black would have been my choice until I saw the turquoise in Leisure Lakes yesterday.

Thanks again folks. I think at 140mm and with 67 deg HA its going to to rip up just about anything I can throw at it with a fair bit in reserve. I don’t cane it when I run dh tracks, more bimble down, try the smaller jumps and feel quietly smug when I get to the bottom in one piece!

Thanks for the info guys. I’m not talking big road gaps or railway shed to flat style landings either. But I’d certainly like to be able to ride Cwmcarn dh, FOD dhs etc. I might only do that 2 or 3 times a year though so its not like the bike’s going to be relentlessly hammered week in week out. Seems daft to have a bigger bike in the garage when I only do that sort of riding very occasionally.

Plus I reeeaalllllly fancy an ASR5 and the only way I will be able to afford it is to consolidate my 2 existing bikes into one manageable monthly bike :D

I hate to say it but The Grudge made me jump out of my skin on a number of occasions. My excuse is my missus was crapping herself and it made the atmosphere ten times more spoooOOOoooky

Also, the scene in The Ring (the original jap version) where the girl jerkily crawls out of the well, along and out of the telly made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up somewhat…

The latest eg is definitely 67 deg ha but not sure what length fork that’s based on. Brant can confirm any details

What I can confirm though is how well it pedals and climbs, really, and not just for a long travel bike

Its a daft expression that the hardtail or rigid ‘purists’ aim at people riding 6″+ bikes round trail centres

I think the correct STW alternative to suggest would be this :

Plus I’ve got one so I’m bound to say its great, but it really is!

If its a full width (88 keys) and of even average height then you best be feeling strong. Most have a solid cast iron frame that is as big as the width/height of the piano. You’ll need some decent wheels to move it around and have to be creative when getting it on/off the wheels. Also a van with a tail-lift would be a massive help. If I were you I’d stick yer trousers on backwards and get in touch with some experienced movers. There’s some movers round here (gloucestershire) that charge about £90 ground floor to ground floor

Ermm… any born again Christian. Sorry if there’s any reading this but of the 4 I’ve met and known fairly well they’ve all been a hairs breadth away from a straitjacket. Basically balanced on a fence with Jesus one side and the loony bin the other, but facing the Jesus side :D
