Thanks for the offer but my frame size/leg length combination won’t allow anything more than a 4″ drop I’m afraid

Just fitted a pair this lunchtime to my Arch EXs. 2.3 dual compound rear, 2.3 3C front. Went on the rims easy and straight up tubeless with a track pump. Always used to use the original High Rollers but ran a Purgatory/Butcher combination instead for the last two years. Can’t wait to get out and try the new HR2’s

Oh I see as in lots of posts about problems with Reverbs. I read it the way that suited my requirements 🙂

Are there? I’m after a good second-hand one, 4″ drop, 31.6 if anyone’s got one?! Must have missed them in the classifieds I’ll have a look back through…

Reigning 4X world champ and Dh racer Katy Curd does a women only course in FoD if that’s any use? Scroll down this page:

+1 for Cesar on the box, and his books are good too. Really helped me to train my extremely head-strong dog to walk on the leash properly

Thanks Jeremy. At the time I didn’t really pay much attention to the fact they weren’t included, in fact I didn’t even know if they should be anyway. By the time I found out everyone else got some it was a bit late! As it happens I needed two to get them set up properly. Luckily my mate who also bought some RC’s from Alltricks gave me his as he is the weight of a racing whippet and didn’t need them 🙂

Yes! Getting a new bike’s great. Good work bud, I reckon you’ll be very happy with it. Having thought about my comment above, you could even fit the bargain Deore brakes, have a significant improvement over the Avids and be quids right in. Let us know what you think of it.

Another mostly satisfied customer here, my Pike RC’s were delivered quickly although they didn’t come with any bottomless tokens unfortunately. Other than that great service.

Spotted these on Ubyk for 1491, looks like a damn good deal to me. At that price you could easily junk the brakes, fit some XTs (or your brake of choice) and still feel like you were getting a bit of a bargain. Go for it! I seriously fancy one but just don’t have enough disposable cash at the moment.

Lets not get too carried away with the post-argument love-making, it still doesn’t explain why he also sold the wheels to vermillion. I speculated above that this was quite possibly a genuine mistake that hadn’t been handled very well, however I’m still keen to find out what the reason was for taking vermillions money when the wheels had been sold already.

Not sure what tone you are using in your reply there Doug. But to quantify my post, I should have said, ‘seems like a way of turning my normal sort of mountain bike rides into a race to me’

I was going to go on and say that’s why enduro racing appeals to me as I have a big competitive streak and can ride the sort of climbs/descents I normally do, in a race format.

Unless he thought the sale to Tuskaloosa had fallen through, tried to flog them on to you, only to find that the sale to Tuskaloosa was in fact still a goer? Something like that maybe? I don’t know, just playing devils advocate. Looking at his history I’m not getting the sinking feeling that you are dealing with a master criminal here, more like he cocked up and didn’t deal with it very well.

Liking the look of the Eten, bargain price and has some layback which is essential for me. I currently use Dropzones on both my MTBs, albeit lever actuated. I’m looking to go remote and can’t convert the Dropzones. Might take a punt on an Eten at £83, very tempted

BMX track this afternoon. FoD off-piste epic tomorrow or Sunday, taking in some classics and a few new trails I’ve not got round to trying 😀

Great location in the middle of loads of off-piste singletrack, their website even has some maps showing some good loops. There’s a cycle track from Parkend to the Pedalabikeaway trail centre too if that’s more your thing.

First born, we spent absolutely ages crafting a name that we thought sounded lovely, was uncommon, didn’t have comedy initials etc. Second born – it was more a case of ‘oh that’ll do’ 😀

I used to fire back and try and make people see the error of their ways when they said this. Unfortunately not once did it make any difference. Normally its shouted by an angry motorist who isn’t going to take a blind bit of notice to any counter-arguments you might come up with anyway.

I hate to say it but I usually don’t waste my breath any more. If you’re arguing with an idiot chances are they’re doing the same

For an all-rounder I’d say Parkwood all the way. I currently have a Scandal 29er, been thinking of what to replace it with. If On-one had any Parkwood frames in stock in my size I think I’d get one, adjust my Rebas from 100 to 120 and swap everything over.

Difficult one. UKIP member or not, he probably just said what a lot of people might think. The issue is social media gives people an outlet to speak to millions before they think. So I think its a combination of your two options.

I think a few people alluded to that, but the bottom line is she’s 14 years his junior and well fit 😀 He’s probably struggling to use anything north of his waistline to think this one through 😉

Just had a chat with a colleague who recommended a pub for me and my family to visit while on holiday in Devon. The only problem? “It’s run by a pair of poofs” apparently 😀

40 / 26 is a perfectly acceptable (desirable?!) age gap I’d say. Anyway, ignoring the absolute multitude of going-round-in-circles responses on this thread and returning to the original question – you already know the answer – you want her and at the end of the day your instinct will take over. Whether it leads to anything long-term is irrelevant, if it does it does, if it doesn’t – in the words of the Anti-Nowhere League – So F***ing What!

We were staying at a hotel in Florence a few years back with a tiny, very slow old lift. We got in the lift one evening and as the doors shut I was engulfed by the smell of rotten eggs. I looked at my wife and she was smirking. The lift took ages to get going and to travel its journey upwards to our floor. She later told me that she’d held it in all the way back from our restaurant especially 😀

Listen to your body, be honest with yourself. If you feel up to it, go for a ride. If you don’t, stay at home. Deep down you’ll know which option is right.

You could expand on softplay and make it a ‘Frozen’ softplay party 🙁

I went to two in a row at the same softplay in January. Then a ‘Frozen’ themed party at the local village hall at the start of Feb. Now all my daughter goes on about is having a ‘Frozen’ party for her birthday. 👿

I’m losing the will to live. Let it go let it go aaaahhhh
