Does anyone know if a 420mm Reverb fits all the way down in a large frame?

Vaults vaults vaults, I have them on both my MTBs – a 160mm full suss and my all-round HT XC/commuter 29er too. They’re just bl88dy good wide, grippy, reliable, easily serviceable pedals. Just buy Prezet’s, you wont be disappointed. EDIT : if you want black that is 🙂

I’m now in the market for a Spitfire frame, don’t suppose anyone is thinking of selling a large V2?!

Ahh Hot-Headz, they are based just along the road from me in Stroud. Thanks, they’re out of stock though, I’ll put them on my wishlist

They look great, where can I procure myself a pack or two of those!?

Very. I couldn’t really give too much of a toss about the good and bad things in the original post. I just love living and am determined to enjoy every last moment.

Thread resurrection ahoy! falkirk-mark if you read this how has your Mega TR been? They have frame only on CRC for £520 and I’m very close to going 650B….

There’s some great riding around Stroud but not a great deal over that way unfortunately. Noah’s have done organised MTB rides leaving from the shop in the past. It might be worth speaking to them and seeing if any of their riders have gpx’s you could follow, they’re all pretty helpful guys.

I’ve played 3 and NV in the past and found them both buggy, but it never stopped me enjoying them. I’ve only played two hours of Fallout 4 so far but haven’t encountered any bugs yet, although I’m sure it will happen.

Mine looks uncannily like yours drac, but more stubble and a bigger nose, like me!

Impressed so far. played 2 hours and only just got to the bridge on the way to Concord – spent so long designing my character and exploring the vault and my home area. This could take some time

Thanks sq. In actual fact the Marz shock puts me off a little because of its adjustability (I’d be buying frame only) Sounds daft I know, and I’m sure I’d get it set up properly eventually, but I do like simplicity!

Jim I’ve seen that in the classifieds already. Aeris, RT3, bigfoot blue with Pikes would be exactly the spec I am after. In a large 🙁

Thanks I did see that. They haven’t ridden one though, just a bit of information on the new 650b geometry and components.

Conversely my wife barely says a word buts farts like a trooper. The theory is sound.

We were on holiday in Florence a few years ago staying in a hotel near the centre. There was a tiny lift that took you up to our floor. My wife held a fart in all the way back from a restaurant just so that she could let it out when we got into the lift.

You do chaka. If you think too much about them the whole show becomes a bit of a joke. For me its just a weekly dose of brain out entertainment. I love it, including the latest Morgan-heavy episode.

Shorty 2.3 on the front for me too. Brilliant tyre, clears really well, and coped well with mud, leaves, wet loam, roots and rocks on an off-piste trail ride in FoD on Sunday. Felt fine on some of the drier harder bits of trail too.

Recently bought some Leatt 3DFs – very happy with them. Previously had Kyle Straights, not much in it really, although I find the 3DFs more comfortable and not as hot for summer use. They come up a little small though, definitely try before you buy

No they definitely don’t have probably the best and longest descents in FoD over that way at all. Just hard stone fire-road style tracks

sorry to hear that swavis, hope your OH gets better very soon. Sounds very similar, I struggled to speak, couldn’t find the right words, slurring and stuttering for some time. It gradually got better though and was all but normal after about 3 weeks. My only lasting effect two months later is that my memory is now crap.

Elefant that’s interesting, I’d heard that the operation was pretty straightforward and extremely low risk. I’ll certainly ensure I get all the information from the consultant should I be offered the procedure.

Thanks for the input guys, including the helpful private message. martinhutch very useful advice/questions to ask. It was indeed a bizarre thing for the Dr to say. It sounded like she was a little disillusioned with the NHS. She didn’t say much else unfortunately (apart from not to go deep sea diving) just that my consultant would be in touch.

Just beginning to click now after the initial been there, done that feeling. I’m enjoying it as much as I did Forza 4 now, although I’m not keen on the ‘career’ mode. Leagues, rivals and multiplayer are all brilliant though. Graphics and performance are amazing, the feeling of speed driving the Lotus F1 car on the Spa challenge is scary 😀

mtbbatteries will have them. I’ve bought a couple of lights and battery packs from them. After a year or so one of the plastic loops snapped on the battery bag, they sent me a new one FOC. Great customer service. However if you didn’t get it from them originally I wouldn’t expect a free one 🙂

Properly looking forward to this. Me and Mrs Wilko just watched the box set from start to finish in the last month or so.

EDIT: anyone with AMC as part of the BT sport package can watch it on Sunday night by the way. Although that’s not me

It’s the best damn £5 that I currently spend a month. I have a mini-laptop connected up to my home hi-fi and it means I can play pretty much any music I can think of, at any time of the day, however many times I want, and with no adverts. Apart from Tool 🙁

This thread has forced me into buying a second-hand Blackfoot Extreme off eBay, in really good nick complete and ready to run. For the kids of course. When they’re older 🙂

Dean Forest Cycles in Parkend has a good cafe. Also in Parkend are The Fountain and The Woodman, both do good pub food, and very near the above mentioned trails

Look on strava for segments with dowies, bluebell or shutcastle in the title. Exploring those areas should keep you occupied for a while
