    do you want a refund?

after the hoo ha in the last few months with the site being hacked I think it looks like they are just trying to get a bit more money in through the doors.

I am sure that when you renew your subscription you could ask for the new rate

    just a thought

the valves are being ripped out when filling because they are only really held in with the little collar on one side, i mean if you really wanted to you could tear them off with a pair or plyers couldn’t you

so why not use 2 of those little screwy collar things , one on one side of the rim one on the other, you could then tighten one up against the other

    just a thought

I am an analyst for a massive Gas and Power company, that no one in the uk has really heard of,

as an asside have you noticed how many people are analysts these days.
there are loads in this office (but only 4 in the analyst team)

i think what marv is saying that your light lasted 1 ride
so £40 for 2 hours use
    £20 per hour

my ayups have lasted 2 years
3 hours once a week for winter
(so shall we say 52 uses at 3 hours) so 156 hours
    156 hours at £200

works out at £1.28 per hour

    and that 2 lights

i still think the p7’s are a good idea, but it is always best to not throw maths arround

    you arrive
book into the george or the holiday inn
and have a nice walk round, or possibly a nice ride round
there is a route up to the lake behind betwys, ask at bike betwys for a route guide

other than that, the marin will be a challenge for a first time out on the bike, If you have to do it (and she will hate the climb and she will tell you and the start climb is singletrack and there is no where warm to stop on the route and it is high and it is -5 in leeds tonight so god knows how cold it is)

it would be better to set off now and arrive tonight and wake up refreshed

I go riding with my wife all the time

our first romantic weekend was at coed y brenin, but she is hard as nails

just remember all the poor sods you see when you are riding round coaxing their girlfriends round

you are in a dangerous place at the moment
if she doesn’t like it she may see mtb as a pointless silly hobby therefore curtailing your journies out, or it is brilliant, but you must then ride at her pace… or you may have a missues like mine who is a nutter and loves hooning round on her full susser…. (and has more bikes than me)

still a little worried about crush damage on the helmet

    just remember
easy for you is brutal for non mtb ers, now it is bad enough when your mate who you took out riding is looking at you like you are a loony because you have just taken them on a ‘short 20 k ride’

but the wife is a different story, they can deny you all manner of necessities

BE WARNED, FIND SOMEWHERE REALLY EASY,MAKE SURE THEY ARE WELL WITHIN THERE COMFORT ZONE

ride beside or slightly behind her most of the time, so you don’t shoot off

DO NOT MAKE HER EAT YOUR DUST ON A CLIMB

she doesn’t necceserily care about the rebound adjustment settings on her forks, so a 20 min lecture on this is not needed

think of it as a romantic weekend with a little biking thrown in, not a biking weekend with a little romance thrown in.

    this weekend could go pear

    take care…..

when i went in the Manager was adamant that there was no dirt worker in the building
she did look somewhat silly when i waled round the corner with it in my arms tho

don’t trust the shop staff, have a look in the jet wash section on the floor

ask them to look up the product code, it will then give a store location code (where it should be in the store, look on the store map, go there and buy it

    (its what i did)

hmm just a touch worried about having a big metal bolt above my head, kinda negates having the old helmet on there eh

    wildrnes

    go to bolton NOW

    they have one there

    if you are too slow
give the numptie the product code and ask them to do a search of the uk of stock levels

there is one in doncaster, one in barnsley

look in the jet wash isle (at the bottom) big white box) looks nothing like a dirt worker

so all in all a productive week (and i have the coffee machine to myself)

I got mine yesterday from wakefield for £24 i believe there is one in Doncaster

the store manager said that there was definately not one in their store, so she was somewhat surprised when I walked round the corner with one.
