it will start on a start line and make its way round the quarry going not only up but down and around objects, the course is mainly on the earth, but if you do feel that is a touch easy you could try jumping bits…
it will end at the finish, which will more than likely be within a few miles of the start

erm any sign of the results being posted up, or at least a hint as to when they will get posted

will do the ride again will never use the pub (and after a couple of seconds googling it seems that i am not alone…)

i did bother me to be honest sitting in edale outside a fantastic pub with a beautiful aspect looking at fantastic rolling scenery, to then have Whitney huston’s greatest hits forced down my throat kind of spoils it,

there were about 100+ people in the garden and you could see people looking round saying what is this rubbish

i went over to talk to the staff, who just stood there smirking, so i asked to speak to the manager

a couple of minutes later a woman came over and took out £7 pints and told us to leave because we were swearing at the staff…. the other customers looked somewhat worried

i am riding tomorrow in the peak with a mate, but we will be starting late, and he isn’t mega brilliant (only riding 6 months, NEVER OWNED a bike before…)

so not too sure what route to do, i really want to do about 20 miles or so , but we won’t be arriving till fairly late (setting off from dewsbury at 10 so more than likely 12 set off)

I more than likely am being unreasonable, but I work in an industry where you don’t snap at the customer as they pay your wages.

at the moment we have tried to let him come to the conclusion his driving is too bad to carry on, and we will have a talk this weekend, i am not going to fall out with him (he is not a well man) and I think the stress of any conflict would not help in the slightest.

firstly i bought him a new car because he was driving a 280bhp subaru, so a small honda seemed a better bet…..

he went to the doctors this morning, doctor gave him the once over and sugested that as he has problems walking and turning his head he should think about giving up driving

this went down like a sack of poo

doctor called me afterwards and told me everything that had happened

i had to wait till lunchtime and called my father who told me the doctor had sent him for a blood test and everything else was fine

i pushed him a little into telling me what happened (he did not tell me everything)

the important thing is he told me that the doctor had the audacity to tell him he shouldn’t be driving as he couldn’t move his head

“And i told him I have a reversing camera”

“I’m never going to that doctor again”

don’t know what the next step is

thankfully he can’t drive the car at the moment as the battery is flat
and i have the charger
