Myhermes are super cheap compared to RM for bigger stuff.
Can drop it off at a local drop of place where they just scan it no waiting in for collection.

my old offices had bogs that ensured that regardless of angle of trajectory skiddies were left… Whoever designed those bowls needs their face shoved in one

Think I am probably looking at a 2.0HDI(£50 a year less to tax than the 1.4 petrol!) Partner in an approx 2003 vintage based on my searching so far.

Not sure whether to go older- lower milage, or newer-higher milage, seems plenty around with rocket ship miles so they seem to last but not sure which is the best option

1 shed – Is there anything noticable better/worse with the berlingo over the kangoo? or are they all much of a muchness?

    2.4 X-king is skinny right? ;)

Is my only bike at the moment until my alpine is build then this will be made more commuter-ish, so for the moment the xking race king combo is fast enough for my mostly road commute but don’t need to change tyres when getting a bit muddy.

I quite fancy getting one but a bit of a slippery slope to start on…
Already spent enough on my wheeled rc’s

And I read about someones phantom flying off in the distance never to be seen again :o

might as well just attach your wallet to a weather balloon if that’s going to happen

Just down to jealousy really, I certainly can’t afford an expensive bike but doesn’t really bother me if other people can.

You will learn women can do many things…

Just not as often as you would like… Or ever once you have kids!

This thread has made my Thursday night a lot more interesting…

I met my missus on line, 5 years and 2 kids ago!
Wasn’t on a dating website though just through a forum I used at the time.

Definitely should start a singlebikersworld dating site though… Some serious hormones flying around in This place!

Superstar size zeros for me. Had them on a year, worn through half the ‘grip’ but the worn down bits feel even grippier, look scruffy in white after 5minutes though

My commute is only 2 miles and I change fully… I am pretty unfit (read: fat) so sweat quite a lot but i can’t imagine not changing/washing before sitting down at my desk.

Surely a pair of bike shorts and 2minute to change everyday would save all the work trousers?

Seems silly and irrelevant after candodavid’s post…

But my only regret is coming 2nd in an application process for a job where I would have had a degree paid for and be on twice as much money as I am n, already met the mrs etc so didn’t really change anything but think us and the kids would have a much easier life if I did

Fitted an XL and a rear mucky nuts guard…. mostly for the commute rather than out on the trails. Doing a good job so far

I run a 2.4 x king front and 2.2 race king rear on my commute/xc bike.
Loving it so far, the race King is super fast rolling and the x king is a bit slower but gives me the confidence the front grip is there when it does go offroad.

Considering another race king for the front but think i would miss the x king when things get a bit more slippery.

I don’t have an hour to watch this.
Why exactly do these conspiracy theorists think anyone other than terrorists would have wanted to do this? What would they gain?

I sold my car a month ago, ordering shopping on line saving me money (buying only what I actually need) gives me no choice of wimping out and driving to work if it’s raining.

Going well so far, but can see me needing one soon as will be hard to keep the kids entertained over the winter when we can’t just go to the park.

I know all the words to ice ice baby… Much to the amusements of my colleagues when I decided to opt for this at an Xmas party karoke.
It is possible to looks whiter and stupider than vanilla ice.

Also know all the words to the fresh prince theme and hammer time.
considering most of these songs were released before I was born and I don’t like rap is odd I remember these over songs I actually like…

Also I am currently wearing nija turtle pants… But that’s a story for another thread

Wasn’t the point of the review the spank hubs were better than hope? So putting the spank rims on hope hubs doesn’t make sense to me…

I did skim read so might be totally wrong

bending is different to shattering though…

And I feel I need to say this…

£750 a rim!!!! All the bikes and parts I own aren’t worth much more than that…

fixed price tarrif just before price rises.. May have timed it right for once as I can’t see the prices staying put/going down unless what’s-his-face-milliband gets his own way

love the nano pedals on my 1st bike so obvious choice for the alpine… Their ‘sale’ £3 deduct was enough for me to order them last week when I don’t even have cranks yet!

Ordered some nano pedals Friday lunch time, were here Saturday morning with haribos!

Never had issues with their stuff, used their bars, stems, pedals and grips etc never had a problem not sure I’d by something like wheel builds from them though based on reviews bit can’t fault the components I’ve had

I don’t earn much the missus doesn’t work and I have two kids…

So of course I have to spend all my spare cash on bike stuff or I would go insane :)

Building my Alpine over winter bit by bit to spread it out, so far only have frame, wheels pedals and a chainring so a while to go yet
