Oops didn’t actually read it just got off a price comparison!
seem like it will handle what I need.

Can I upload files directly from a memory card/stick on the chromebook?

Had an old wooden handle lock knife (was quite blunt by the time it was handed down to me) when I was about 8 for using on ny grand dads farm. Dad brought me home a Swiss army knife from Switzerland when I was about 10, I still have it, lost all the toothpick/pen etc bits in about 5 minutes though.

My little brother did this when he was a baby, I’m waiting until he has a girlfriend so I can bring it up in front of her.

Yes… Seen it on dirty Sanchez.
Would rather of seen female bits falling at 120mph… A buffering wedding tackle is not a pretty site.

If by likeminded you mean unfit with hardly any free time to ride then I’m your man! ;)

I’m in Newport, still building my ‘proper’ bike but in a few weeks/months that should be finished and hopefully will have more free time as well.

    Where abouts are you?

Ikea one has a little drum which pops out so much easier to clean.

I ride my bike to work everyday…

Because I’m not allowed a parking space at the office :(

There was already a thread, they said were waiting on frames from new supplier and need to be tested etc for going to production so will be an unknown amount of time, or something like that

Watch you don’t run your cock over when you land…

I built a ladder drop when I was about 14 was just nailed to two trees about 12 feet up with a big ladder to ride up and a tiny 2ft landing, no idea how me and my mates didn’t kill ourselves, what you are planning looks much more sensible

Some of your weddings cost more than my annual salary…

Clearly I have a crap job but still, can’t imagine spending that much, when it’s over don’t you get a massive sinking feeling that your 20k lighter?

Bought a gourdon based in the reviews from here, used it everyday for a few months now. Great bit of kit, love not having to worry about putting a cover on if it starts raining. went for the smallest one with the straps which is good but think I might have been better off with a bigger size as with my work clothes, toiletries and my shoes (though admittedly they are massive size 12s) there is no space to spare.

Superstar nanos for £35 + £25 5.10 shoes (from the PSA) = awesomeness

I supported Protest the Hero when they crowdfunded their latest album so could go it alone without a record company having a say in what they do, well worth the money imho

I really want a trailer/utility bike but living in a flat with no outside storage means I can’t

My two bikes, kid seat and bikes take up too much room as it is :(

I once made cheese on toast after a night out

In the morning I realised what I had in fact done is put a whole block of butter and a block of cheese onto a slice of (untoasted) bread and put it all in the microwave…. Managed to eat half of it before I passed out!

Looks good, once my ‘Proper bike’ is build going for something similar based on my current xc bike as it has rack mounts.

Gave it a go, but like harry they basically said you won’t find one this cheap anywhere else, which was pretty much true so happy with the price I paid even if there was a lot less haggling than I expected

paid the window price but with the tax, service etc chucked in

Couldn’t really argue much as couldn’t find one anywhere else cheaper

    Well i bought one!

They had 4 all same spec same age etc
So had a look round and one was clearly looked after more than the others, 3 years old, 3 main dealer services 30k miles, test drive was fine, so going to pick it up Friday:)

Was 8400 with 12 months tax, 11 months mot.

I’ve been to a talk by Richard Parks after his 737 challenge (link below if you hadn’t heard of him/what he did) and he basically described Everest as being completely crazy with all the people waiting to desperately get a gap in the weather to reach the summit etc

Puts it in real perspective when he said how hard it was after everything else he did that year. Oh and his parents had to remortgage their house to fund the Everest trip 8O

I’ve (reluctantly) worked in a sales environment before so I know getting angry doesn’t get you anywhere

I know it’s been on their website for at least about 2 weeks but only just got the cash, they have 3 others for sale as well but all 10k+ more miles on them

So hopefully I will be able to get decent deal, only just 3 years old so should have new MOT and try to get tax in on the deal

It’s the opposite of fun… Practical

    It’s a 60 plate berlingo XTR with 12k miles
The cheap tax and insurance make it much better value than it seems… Still ugly as **** though

Never bought a car that wasn’t old/cheap and from a private seller so will be a different experience…

Starting at £8000 ish sounds like a plan and then just have to hold out at 8.5k

I saw them in a small venue when I was 15…
Was given a free* ticket by a mate still felt ripped off

*free involved distracting a ermmmm [insert less offensive words than fat & ginger] girl while my mate (unsuccessfuly) seduced her friend.

Pulled someone out of the way of a car before it went smashing through a brick wall because some numpty left the handbrake off on a massive hill…

Was when I was about 12 just an instinctive reaction not anything I would consider heroic but I’m sure the kid would have ended up in a pretty bad way.
