He definitely seems like a dick. His mum has let him get away with murder by the seems of it. Wonder how he pays for all these trips? Seems like mummy has got s nice big house…

Glad to see him smiling and back on 2/3 wheels, would have popped over for a look if I had known as only 5mins away

If you stripped your bike down to parts to weigh it then I think more scales are the last thing you need…

I was heading along a trail there was a big puddle (about 10’x15′) so I slowed down and just kept pedaling, then half way through my front wheel drops down a big pot hole! Cue comedy sideways fall as I tried to put my foot down but there was no ground to put it on! Fully submerged face and everything!

    Luckily nobody was looking

    Get one…

For just general browsing and the odd document etc best thing I’ve had to be honest .

Much faster than a cheap laptop and under £200 (Acer 720)

I just fell in a 2 foot deep puddle (fully submerged) so shoes and everything in the wash now, hopefully the missus won’t notice

The pedals do wear a bit, mine are a year old and starting to go a bit pink (started off red) already got another set in the cupboard…

Wouldn’t say it is any faster than I would expect, all my other superstar bits are stems and bars etc so nothing that really gets worn so can’t coment on them…

I’ve only recently got a phone that can run strava, just had a check and most of the local loop I do is covered in segments, but weirdly all the boring bits labelled as “climb” and “decent” in opposite directions and none of them involve the fun drops and technical corners…

Might set one for one of my fave bits which involved a quick sprint over an old Victorian bridge over a river which then blindly drops about 20 feet (can be rolled down or dropped into depending on speed) set up a “bimbler cam” and live off the you’ve been framed royalties

Will be interested to see how I rate in the rankings as never had it running whilst doing this ride, won’t lose any sleep over it as I was well in the bottom quarter at afan

I once found someone’s purse on the way the school when I was about 9, handed it in at school, next day in assembly they mentioned it and said it had been returned to the owner and they had given a £10 voucher as a reward for the person that found it… then proceeded to present this to the girl who just happened to be standing next to me when I handed it in at the office and had nothing to do with the purse.

That was the day I lost my faith and in the world being a fair and just place…

As above assume they are going to shaft you…

Does the wife have a job lined up down under? are they going to have to start paying rent etc?

As if no to the above, then isn’t it the same spending 3 months here waiting as down there? except the sunshine…

Had a go sans tube with some fairy liquid… managed to get the beads to seat fairly easily with my £5 aldi trackpump. Is leaking a bit around the beads but should be fine when I stick some sealant in.

Croquet and bowls sounds like a good serious suggestion (unlike my contributions) but may want to assess the risk involved of giving your (potentially) drunk guests big hammers

I think the same rule applies for “am I being paranoid or…” And “am I being scammed or…”

    The answer is yes ;)

As mentioned above softener is what causes the clogging and smells, not used it in the new machine and still smells new just using powder and an empty wash every now and again. Our machine is used for washing cloth nappies everyday, so if that doesn’t make a smell nothing will!

If you’re going to open somewhere called “The gym” at least make it a pub.

“Just going to the gym for a few hours darling”
“Going to the gym for a session after work” etc etc ;)

I’m with BT (non fibre) was a bit of a hassle getting connected they went to wrong box on the street then took a month to activate it.

But ever since has been 100% reliable and never had any issues with speed even with multiple devices streaming in HD
