Depends on your contract I would assume, if it is considered a permanent change then usually not as that is your workplace.

The whole race thing is just odd to me…

It’s just and indication of what type of peoe live in the area where it happens really. Its not as if middle aged white men are impervious to bullets, go join a gang in LA and see if you last longer than the others…

It annoys me when people advertise jobs for people with “a degree”…

I have relavent experience but can’t apply but my mate who partied his way through an unrelated degree can?

Obviously engineering or some other specific required degree for a specific job is perfectly understandable but how does having any unrelated degree but no experience make you better?

Once got detention for sitting down…

I was sat down with my arms crossed, teacher was having a go at someone else then sat down and crossed their arms (after me) then flipped their lid shouting “are you mocking me?!”

The car vs gun thing is pointless though.

You can’t drive your gun to work…

Thing that really gets me is missus is always the one who moans about it being messy despite her making a large proportion (I’m not claiming to be perfect) of the mess and me doing all of the tidying.

Eg. “We really need to sort out the mess in the kitchen” = I’ve made a mess of the kitchen tidy it up

Same thing here bought 2 tyres, then told one was out of stock, asked to wait.

Then one turned up and was refunded for the other,it was then back in stock a few days after the other was delivered! (At full price…)

I know I posted in the other thread but…

They really are nutjobs, when a law to increase the security checks done on people buying guns can’t even be passed it means they are all doomed

You missed out talking about the bit where he used a combination of numbers and letters that mean nothing to anyone and make him seem clever ;)

As nobody has commented and this joke is time dependant, I would like to point out I was referring to the programme “The naked rambler”

On a drunken walk home to a mates house at ~4am we “acquired” 50+ car aerials, they are still in his dads attic I think.

Sorry I forgot to use the [/sarcasm] tags.

I can’t comprehend the crazy logic of the gun nuts, just very glad I don’t live there.

    Holly F’in ballbags kimbers…

Can’t fault their logic, you never know when you will get shot so everyone carry a gun ;)

Because more people with guns is clearly the way to stop gun crime.

My place pretty much looks like that ^

Not dirty per say, just messy… Clothes toys etc cover all of the floor/furniture. I feel more like a zoo keeper than a father sometimes

Quite surprised how many people went to private schools, I don’t know anyone that did…

My school was pretty decent though but out of ~300 people my age only 1 got into Oxbridge despite there being many people with all A’s. Might be something to do with his brother being there already and his dad being very wealthy

PS, If brant is reading, I do still want the tyre but feel a bit begrudged paying full whack after not being offered the option to wait and being refunded even thought it is back in stock 3 days after my other tyre was posted…

I tried to get into it when I was younger but I always felt very out of place whenever I walked in gamesworkshop with my mates, just wasn’t enough of a geek i suppose…

I still have a bunch of unopened LOTR warhammer at my mums house.

Similar to the above, I ordered a smorgasbord, a chunky monkey and 2 tubes.

Smorgasbord turned up last week, has email about the rest of the order being out of stock. Posted here to tell Brant i’m happy to wait.

Just checked and they are back in stock but I have had a refund for the price of the tubes and chunky monkey?

Which means if i order now i don’t get the discount. Seems a bit rubbish to me considering the first one only turned up a few days ago so not like the stock was months away or anything…

Not to hijack but while all my fellow “cranialy endowed” gentlemen are here, any recommendations for a full face?

Had a fox rampage XL, was too small front to back and on the cheek bones. Tried on a Giro remedy which is supposed to come up big and didn’t feel much better.

Only every ridden them alone! Usually very early as well generally on the trails by 6-8am depending on the light and time of year, so rarely bump into anyone at all often the first car in the carpark.

Makes it a lot less embarrassing when i collapse of exhaustion after the first small climb…

I had my bike stolen before and was told I could ring 999 if I found someone riding it, so would probably get address of said scumbag and ring the rozzers walk in and keep them talking about the bike until they arrive…

I have the same melon head issues(63cm).

Got a giro feature cheap and fits well. Also the hex fitted fine but preferred the look of the feature though.

    Still haven’t found a comfy FF though…

If they hadn’t noticed I probably wouldn’t bring it up, but wouldn’t ignore them if they called me.

Edit: didn’t realise it was £600 would definitely call then

Main reason for saying won’t slow down is ssd. As no moving parts like a HDD that slow down as they get older/fuller. Obviously you can get ssd laptops but not for £200
