I dont know what its like what you are going through but ive been through plenty of tough times myself and it can be hard to see the light at the end of tunnel but eventually things usually sort them selves out even if you cant see that right now.

I have this issue… I share the bin area with a neighbor last week they put a bag in my nearly full bin so I moved it as I needed a bit of space left before the next collection.

Their response was to put another one in there and this repeated for 3 days🙄

I “lost” my iPad and car keys keys in my house so only thing is they must have been binned… Came home with both couldnt find them in the morning so used to spare thinking they will turn up bit they never did even when I moved!

Not what I wanted but I wasted 8 years of my life hoping she would change and stop being abusive and controlling. I realise now it’s never going to happen but I thought she could at least manage to be their mother for a few hours a week

I’m going through something similar, I have the kids living with me their mum moved out last year and is with someone else and is supposedly wanting her kids to live with her (only says this when it comes to court) yet she hasn’t called their school/attend any Christmas plays or parents evenings etc so it’s obvious she doesn’t want to put the effort in…

Although I’m in a minority being a dad with the kids, so many of my family and ftifrie have been through this stuff where the dad leaves fights tooth and nail through court to try and get access etc but then a year or two down the road meet someone else and their interest tapers off and they rarely actually see their kids despite making everything so expensive and traumatic with all the court stuff to start with.

If he is a decent guy he will just want to see his kids and not turn it into a battle over maintenance payments etc as in my experience the ones who do that are the ones who aren’t really thinking about the kids

But tell your friend she is doing a great job and things do get easier and as long as the kids are happy that really is all that matters whatever haooens

Glad to hear there are stories where it all worked out well.

I’m not getting my hopes up about anything this early on but either way it’s a hell of a lot better than doing nothing and just being alone, I don’t have the time to go out and meet people in the “conventional” way pretty much at this moment in time I’m a single dad with kids with me 24/7 apart from when my parents have them which is half a day or maybe overnight on the weekend.

Nah that’s never going to happen, she (quite ironically) after I kicked her out after finding out she was seeing this guy and neglecting the kids to be able to see him told him all these stories about how I’m such a bad person and did all this made up stuff in the past so I can’t be in the same room as her for fear she will make up some false allegation again and she won’t to maintain her facade of being scared of me…

I honestly think this could be the end where she just gives up on the kids and doesn’t even bother to try and see them anymore

I had a similar experience with agent **** in the past…

Told me I had to pay £200 to renew I questioned what I get for this £200 as someone who has lived there and never missed a rent payment or caused any issues but didnt really have £200 at that time, said they would get back to me.

The jist is he (as far as I’m concerned) will never be allowed anywhere near my children again and I’m concerned about the time he has already spent with them. This view is shared by social services and I imagine they may well get involved regarding the pregnancy/new baby they are having together…

My ex doesn’t seem to think there is any risk so is basically ignoring it which is not unexpected but she is essentially choosing him over her kids and is not allowed to see them until something is resolved as a result…
