I had a similar public humiliation yesterday, walking up the stairs to the changing rooms in a packed gym, a brief admiring glance at the lady walking down the stairs cause me to lose my balance fall UP the stairs. Made a huge noise so everyone turns around, I was tangled in my bag and my shoe had fallen off…

Absolute worst thing was she said “are you OK?” and all that came out of my mouth was “sorry”

I’ve recently realised my iPod with 6000+ songs on it has been lost, assumed it was just packed away since I last moved but finally emptied this last few boxed the other day (moved in 2 years ago) and nowhere to be seen 🙁

Thanks guys, recently joined a 24hr gym so go there in the evening when I have nothing better to do, but hurt my knee somehow so can’t do as much as i would like.

I am starting to think it is just a concoction of all the crap I am going through at the moment rather than any one thing getting me down.
Found out a local bike shop is looking for staff so going to focus tomorrow nights efforts and sorting CV/covering letter to head down there Friday. Will attempt to make my way into the bed now if there is room left for me…

I’m firmly in the “death penalty is bad” camp.

For a start I don’t really think killing someone is OK as long as they killed someone else, EG. If I watched someone kill someone else so I killed them, I could be given the death penalty for killing them but the person who killed me would not be punished…

Also in most cases (this one being an exception) you cannot be 100% sure that someone is guilty and the risk of killing innocent people is not worth it IMHO. Time spent on your own to reflect on your actions and potentially change and contribute something to society is far better.

Just to add to that it seems like I messed up on a one off, that is not the case I am a terrible rider and have no idea why I attempted it as i can’t jump for s*** and was very glad I had purchased a full face the day before.

Last year, I massively screwed up a step down that was about 3 foot vertical drop over a gap of about 10 feet, hit the lip and faceplanted massively. Not a scratch!

Watched some in the millennium stadium a few years ago from a corporate box (go me!) They had the roof shut and you could still here them from the other side of Cardiff practicaly. Was insanely loud inside.
