Just sounds like you need to adjust the cable tension to me

Frog bikes are great for around £200 dependent on size. Light well made and thought out bikes.

If it is pumping up then yes it needs a bleed, shimano are easy to do and bleed kit is about £25 from LBS.

maybe we don’t want loads of people coming from miles away to ride the cheeky trails…

Yes, so even if the cassette was off you could just pull the freehub off and replace it for a 10sp one for example.

    17g of oats in a Tupperware/container
    Topped with 100g of yoghurt
    A further 18g of oats
    100g yoghurt
Top it with fruit, frozen berries of choice.
    Leave in the fridge overnight.

    Lovely!

Is it vital to have 1g more of oats on the top layer than the bottom?

It coming off is nothing to do with it being an XD cassette that is just your freehub body coming off with the cassette on.

But yes that is normal, as the cassette is threaded there is no lockring,

Day off today so had a quick spin at cwmcarn attempting (badly) to conquer some of my demons on the downhill tracks in the dust.

Size up due to the short TT.

If 58cm spesh fits then a 60cm cube will probably be best.

Fox launch pro youth. S/M size just about fit my 4yr old and have saved him loads of grazed knees.

I’m not exactly light so wouldn’t think it would take much for me to get the shock through its travel.

Might give the shock a service as didn’t play about with it much when it was new so but sure if this is something that has developed since.

Just bumping this if someone has any advice. I was at 35-40% today and still only getting through 80% of the travel.

This was during numerous runs at cwmcarn, which included a few bad landing and drops etc where I think I should have used a bit more but just seems stupid if I need to run more sag.

The shifters mount fine without brakes but your brakes will need clamps to be used on another bike (£40)

Just got my 4yr old going on his first bike with pedals after flying about on his balance bike for a few years, I give him a push to get him started he then pedals like a madman giggling away to himself before crashing about 10-20ft and wanting to do it again and again.

Great fun, can’t wait until he properly gets the hang of it and we can go a bit further, he loved the skatepark on his balance bike so will be a while off but will be riding this one there soon as well.

Don’t use a rock razor but a specialized slaughter which is a similar idea, I run a butcher up front and find it a great all round combo now.

How old are your wheels and who built them?

If the rims are still ok might just need rebuilding with new spokes.

I much preferred that than watching live, much better with a bit of editing (and a bit of Warner)

They come as the mavic WTS (wheel tyre system) so always come with tyres.

All of the similar spec mavics are around that price. If you know how or willing to pay someone too then you can get some great wheels for that sort of cost.

I have some DT EX471 rims built up on DT hubs, they are fairly light but very wide stiff and strong.

Yes, sometimes you fit a new one and some go pop when you are just truing the wheel before it ever leaves the stand.

I bought a load of the “tattoo” 2.3 slick ones, some in 24″ for my jump bike and 26″ for my commuter. Cost me less than £20 for all four and the ones on the commuter are great, super fast rolling and not run out of grip even in the wet and way more comfy on a rigid than my previous 1.95″‘s…

Probably not what most people will buy though

It’s always the people who are still running 9 speed and have never tried 11 speed who say it is terrible and overpriced marketing trick…

PS the point about Nico Lau using a double set up is moot because it is Di2 so just one shifter and the front mech sorts it self out

I feel the same with my G150, I am running on about 35% sag at the moment to make it feel like it is active enough.

It is still 11-42 and XD driver just with a more simply made/heavier cassette.

Plus if you did fall off with it flipped up im not sure having a big lump like that on your head would help you out

    wiggles

Theres more to worry about than a split…

When you say “felt a bit loose” i’m guessing there were some spokes loose meaning there was not enough tension in the wheel so yes banging it into curbs would do that.

What do you mean by shells?

If it is an integrated headset the two bearings should just sit inside the frame there will no cups at all.
