Know idea what that is on about^^ You can’t ream a thread and the thread is the same for Sq taper and external BB’s…

But If you want to use external BB you will need to change the cranks, for example if you buy a shimano chainset it will come with the BB.

Maybe they do service but I was told by them this week they don’t do any warranty on them in the UK and to send to BOS.

People who own cheap carbon bikes think are great and defend them? Shocking 😉

They are not all bad but nowhere near the same as a proper brand decent bike. I’ve seen cheap carbon frames that were supposed to be race ones which I could make the chainstay touch the wheel they were that flexy (not to mention the one that sheered at the head tube…)

Jungle still don’t do anything with them in the UK just tell you to send them to BOS

You want Max bearings for frame bearings as they have more bearings inside so cope with bigger loads better. Not all bearings are the same (ones supplied as wheel bearings are usually not Max)

They both break but the main thing for me is

Fishers turn around time for reverb warranty is ~3 days (and usually replacement rather than repair)

Jungle is 2 weeks and usually a repair

Been out with the kids watch everyone go past seemed like people were enjoying it and no tacks here.

Although some idiot drove their car through a foot/cycle path to go around the road closure and scared my son so much he fell off his bike and just drive off.

Bit biased but I would definitely say the whyte, I did…

Great bike, good kit and you can buy it from a shop.

Also as another point, I work for a whyte dealer and had someone bring in a 5 year old frame today with a crack, they will have a new frame Monday, whyte are superb with warranty stuff.

If you are after a medium then get in touch as mine is up for sale…

You should be able to do reverb with the brake then shifter on its own.

Yeah as above I’ve found cleat wear means they release too easily not hard to release. A new pair are sub £30 including cleats so might as do that…

Road and ntb are different I think the threads are longer on some bb’s but as long as it goes up tight then I can’t see the 83mm being a problem.

    wiggles

You won’t knacker the threads if done properly…

I have crap pedals in the workshop used for test rides which get fitted 3+ times a day all year round and they are fine.

Just like lazy stereotyping of entire countries?

I’ve never met an American who suppourted the current gun laws (and i work with a lot of Americans).

Not lazy, just based on my observations. Lazy would be me just assuming all Americans think that because Vince said it. I often read articles on this subject and theme of comments is always the same with so many having this kind of thinking on the matter, I’m not claiming this is in anyway official research but I wouldn’t say it was lazy.

Maybe you work with all the intelligent ones while the rest are at home commenting on articles I read? 😛

I just don’t see how they think it makes sense, it’s just because they don’t look outside their own little bubble and see that other parts of the world manage just fine without guns.

Definitely XL’s if you have the cash, specced them on most of my nice custom builds recently and sold piles to others as upgrades.

Only seen 2 broken so far, by the same person at the same time* just take out the MP3 insurance and it is not much of an issue.

*he weighs 19st and has broken every wheel in the world.
