A carbon super light hybrid will still be harder to pedal than an ebike…

Can’t remember where he was from but had a bloke come into the shop asking if we could repair a steel tandem frame he was sand blasting for someone and it had bent significantly during the process 😆

    So not him…

Blast coat in Cwmbran(I think) do powder coating specifically for bikes so I would imagine they might no what they are doing with stripping too.

25% off specialized sale at the moment.

Depends what you want out of it?

Suitably priced Allez/tarmac for fast racey bike

Roubaix for something a bit more comfy

    Diverge for mudguards/bigger tyres/gravel

    Had a little play today on the “mid-range” (£6.6k 😯 ) one.

Very nice looking bike seems like a quality product, good reach… However the seatube on a large is massive and looks ridiculous so then you have to get a medium and the reach is too short…

Main issue at the moment is £/$ rate, many many bikes that come from America or paid in dollars are going up enve wheels are £3700 a set currently…

Bit late to this bit aren’t all the empty seats he walks past (coach H)first class? Therefore the reason he walks past them….

Also this is hardly a major deal is it “man sits on floor when he could have sat on a seat” is all over the news but “PM hides daddys money in Panama” is swept under the carpet after he posts a tax return (yeah because if you have money in an illegal offshore fund you would put it on your tax return??!?)

Anyone have any pictures with a front rack?

How do you fit it at the top of the fork? The only hole on the carbon fork is the vertical ones the mudguard goes into…

Plenty of full suspension bikes are available in small or extra small, whyte T130, spec camber etc

Most plus tyres are max 20 psi. So it’s like running a 2.3″ at 65psi and wondering why it doesn’t grip.

    Whyte t130 or spesh camber.

Sources from fox have told me the DOSS was tested as lasting 3x longer than a reverb in up/down lab tests. The transfer lasts much longer than the DOSS in the same test.

Not full proof of real world conditions bit sounds good to me. Feel great too, faster than a reverb and very solid top out

They are usually £2 an inner for cheap ones so £139 isn’t bad.

Most places only sell them for workshop use so are priced individually rather than as a box.

If you want cheap makes more sense to buy a wheel set

Wiggles yes there have been a (token) whip or two

My point was there is a big difference between a whip and a tail whip…

    Gutted for Sagan.

Also commentator said a wheel was “pretzeled” ?? It “Pringled” or “tacoed” because of the shape! Pretzeled would mean the rim is tied in a knot.

He also said nino did a tail whip…

Looked like a stupid move for cab, but I don’t understand how if you crash you can just sit down and have a rest for a few laps and join back in and count as being on the same lap?

Glad he’s back. Had one that looked like him that i had for my birthday when I was 7 he left one day when I was about 10, I put up posters etc after a few weeks I lost hope and just assumed the worst.

6 months later he wandered in the cat flap like nothing happened!

Depends on the riding/your skill really.

I had a whyte G150 and rode it (badly) on some fairly gnarly stuff and it was great but on trail centre and stuff more my level it was too much in that it just took everything too much in its stride.

Just felt like it was so far in its comfort zone I could just point it at stuff and hang on didn’t matter how bad I was riding it would make it through. At first I thought it was great making me go faster and making things much easier… This wore off after a while and it was just too much bike and made my riding go backwards if anything just relying on the bike.

Very happy with my choice to go to a 120mm travel 650+ hardtail makes me ride properly(or crash) and I’m actually riding faster on now it’s forcing me to ride better.

Wouldn’t say it was a bad bike at all just not the right bike for me at this stage in my riding, but if you just want to keep up with your mates without trying to hard it would be great.

I’ve changed from 3″ spesh to 3″ schwalbe and think they are about the same( if anything schwalbe are smaller) so 2.8″ should be a bit smaller.

I think it comes with spacers because you remove say a 5mm spacer then use a 4mm spacer with the 1mm support plate?

Not used one myself so not 100? on that but that was my understanding.

EDIT; don’t understand that if it is the wrong diameter

26er xc race bikes, must be giving them away by now surely?

    wiggles

I think he means the spacers are for DT hubs.

You will need end caps specific to your hub so can’t just get a DT kit to put it on a superstar hub, I doubt anyone other than superstar would make an adapter for their hubs

    What hub?

They’re the same as last year’s but slightly different specs. So yes they ride great
