Kid seat hasn’t been on it for a while that’s an old picture, now has only the rear mudguard (front fell off) and a canti front v brake rear set up.

Must of been my neighbour and I’m not really bothered they used it more that they left the back door wide open whilst they were out..

Got up to go to work and it is back! Exactly where I left it…

No idea where it went as the door was wide open when it was gone…but it has been returned.

A few weeks ago my missus was doing a half marathon and I went to watch, saw her near the half way point and was walking across Cardiff to meet her at the finish (a huge distance of 2 miles…) and stood in a small pothole twisted my ankle and nearly didn’t make it to the finish 😳

99% of people who say they hate evokes have never tried one and totally change their mind once they have.

When I have ridden one my heart rate has been higher than the same ride on a normal bike, because it makes you go for it up the hills rather than just “get to the top”

United recruit 16 inch is what I would recommend seeing as none of the above suggestions are actually BMX’s

Specialized brose system is the best IMO (I’ve ridden Bosch and Yamaha bikes also)

I know someone who took their reverb out to send it off and the sheath through the frame came out when they pulled the hose out… Not warranty according to evil

    No I wouldn’t…

Did it once and it rolls fine etc but 3″ tyre means a lot of spray, got to work with a soaking wet arse. Stuck with taking the mudguard commuter road bike since

Bars are too wide (48cm on every size) and 1×11 isn’t really enough IMO for an all round gravel bike for cx racing then yeah fine but would prefer more for long rides.

It does help a bit, but more to the point you will be limited on wheel, fork, crank etc choices in a few years if you don’t have boost.

Chances are if it was sold “off the books” specialized probably replaced the frame with a new one for the blemishes and told the shop to destroy the frame and they flogged it to you…

Not like your life depended on it is it.
no, but human nature is to take risks and like it or not people stuck behind a lorry doing 35 mph will try to overtake at the first possible opportunity.

That’s not human nature that is natural selection.

Unfortunately too often it is passengers/innocent bystanders that pay the price and rhe driver has to “suffer” a ban and a fine.

(Too many dead friends to care what excuses people have anymore and yes I do drive)
But there is no evidence that fast cars are more dangerous. People will always take risks and drive at the speed limit or above. Doing that in a fast car is far safer than doing it in a 50bhp run around. Especially when overtaking on aa country road where there is a much greater margin for error if someone misjudges the situation. Just because your car is fast doesn’t make you drive like an idiot.

Although somewhat away from what this thread was about I agree, people are the issue mainly not the cars. I’ve been far more terrified in the back seat of a Citroen saxo than much faster cars I’ve been in.

    Are you a police officer?
If not, leave the road policing to them, if drivers want to go over the speed limit then get out of their way & let them get on with their journey.

He’s not **** pulling them over is he?!

Why should someone who bothers to obey the law get out of the way so someone can break it?

Assuming there was no reason not to drive at the posted limit (e.g. traffic, weather, etc.) would you fail a driving test for sticking to 35mph on a 50mph road?

Probably, and I’m not arguing about that but just because someone else does something potentially dangerous reacting with more dangerous driving isnt going to help

I’ve seen more dangerous driving from going too slow. Doing 30 on a single carageway with a limit of 50 results in some frustrated dangerous over taking

Still the fault of the person overtaking if it is dangerous though, you don’t have to, you can wait until it is safe.

But yes I agree an old Nana pulling onto a dual carriageway at 35 is dangerous as can be hard to judge, so speed can be dangerous either way but you can’t blame someone driving slow “forcing you” to make a dangerous overtake that’s nonsense

I think it is all a clever ruse…

Interview 10 people, get all their ideas and then pay someone who is cheaper to change the site 😉

its not a few minutes though is it. Coming back from fort bill the other day I was stuck behind a lorry doing 35 mph in a 60. Plus endless caravans. The same trip in the other direction took me an hour less when it was quiet, despite not breaking the speed limit.

    And?

Not like your life depended on it is it.

I’m in agreement with the speed limiter thing. People always moan about “I can’t believe I got a ticket I was only doing 37” yeah? Well the sign says 30, not really complicated is it but people are too stupid to follow it. Everyone knows the legal limit for stealing things is 0 you don’t hear “I was only £7 over the limit” and nicking a few things causes a lot less danger than driving too fast.

    Bring on driverless cars…

Sorry, can somebody please explain how “the lifetime of the frame” makes sense? I mean, it seems possible that it could break in a week….which would make the lifetime exactly 6 days 23 hours and 59 minutes!
    Odd.

The lifetime of aluminium or carbon in the form of a frame is expected to last 5 years of use before fatigue could cause it to fail.

    Nothing lasts forever

And the length of the warranty is irrelevant if you don’t have one in the first place 😉

Lifetime of the product not the owner, which is 5 years
