I don’t think it is dead, we are just starting to get proper tyres (minion 2.8″ etc) and then they will make sense for more riders

They 100% have the bits in the box as I get them direct from hope like that, so if they aren’t the shop has taken them out to sell separately…

Get the smaller ones, much easier to get them in the tyre when fitting. I use 23-28 ones in my 30c tyres, inner tubes are stretchy blow one up not in a tyre and it will get very big.

Doesn’t come with bb tool but does come with crank tools which they helpfuly put a bottle opener on the end of (instead of the bb tool…)

Maxle stealth is the rockshox version. Works fine on my forks.

does it say on the website that they come with them? might come with them from sapim but then JRA split them.

Loads of places do that sort of thing now, like CRC with mavic wheels that don’t come with bags or any adaptors etc, which funnily enough they have for sale separately…

God forbid you have to undo and do up a bolt on a light that cost £400, you would be astounded to find out I had to adjust the suspension pressure on my own bike that cost £2k…

If you are using it for trail centre stuff and not for a beach/snow etc than a 27.5+ or 29+ bike is a better tool for the job in my experience. 3″ tyre is plenty unless you are on soft sand etc

Just to add my mate that pulled his sheath out while removing the reverb was told it wasn’t warranty because “it must have been pulled to hard” and they just shoved a new bit of cable routing in the frame so there is now two lots of sheaths in the frame.

I cooked 99% of the dinner, made everyone breakfast and drinks all day, walked the dog and done the enormous pile of washing up yet I have to sort the kids out and get them to bed because “you haven’t done much today”

You can take the shifter off the brake lever and “convert” to just a brake lever rather than replacing it. I know as I had to do it when I accidentally ordered a cable rather than hydro 1x left hand lever…

I’ve got a specialized fuse and it an amazing bike but is a bit pricy at £2k+ for the one I have and I have upgraded the forks… the middle one is decent value.

Although I have been looking at the nicolai argon GLF frame as a possible swap but that is even more expensive.
