I don’t get the ” shock with no compression damping” thing, i don’t think any linkage can tell the difference between high and low speed compression, a shock can.

As a dog owner i don’t get this at all, picking it up is the gross/hard bit carrying a (sealed) bag isn’t that bad.

I understand (but condemn) not picking shit up because it is just laziness but why bother doing half the job?

I’ve got fox 34 27.5+ on my plus bike with 3″ tyres and there is tons of clearance i think a 3.8″ or so would fit.

    Maybe bigger with 26″

It’s for time when you fail to clip back in between that corner and the next feature as a back up and to provide grip and support whilst clipped in.

You might to adjust the b screw in a bit as the mechanic might be too close to the cassette to move over. Or needs more cable tension

    GS is for 1×11
    SGS is for 2×11

Unclipping for technical bits is a really bad idea.

    +100

Bigger platforms are to support your foot and help guide it back to clip in and yes they are better than nothing if you can’t clip in but you shouldn’t plan on trying to ride like that…

Offset bushes work, you just to put them the opposite way round, so outwards rather than inwards due to the pull shock.

Strangely the specs on SRAM’s site say max 42t for all of them.

Because they don’t make anything bigger than 42t (in 11spd)

Yes Shimano 11 speed MTB (and SRAM NX only) cassettes use the same freehub as 8/9/10 speed. Road 11 speed is different and most SRAM use the XD driver.

36×45 are the angles so you need to measure inner and outer diameter and the height

You need to know what bearing you want before you start looking at places to buy it from.

I’m not keen on telling people my address and the location of my expensive bike…

I usually just tell them to street/building and say ring me when you get here and I’ll meet you outside.

Go to a cube dealer and ask nicely, in the one i used to work in we had a pile of warrantied frames in the back we used to cannibalized for parts…

    To all the union haters…

How much holiday/sick/maternity pay do you think people had before they existed?

More sense and conviction than anyone in either Conservative or Labour right now.

I dunno, teresa may seems about as sure that she hates poor people as anyone.

Has stuff actually broken? Or is it just routine things like brake pads/bleed gear cables chain etc.

As it just seems like you had a bike for a while and now it needs maintenance you want a new one (which is fine, I’ve used much worse excuses for new bikes) but sounds like 12-18 months down the line you will be back to the same point

So nothing made by specialized has gone wrong then?

id be more concerned with the parts manufactures of the next bike not the ones that make the frame. Still you could likely replace pretty much everything on it for less than a new bike.

Whats actually gone wrong with it? is it the frame or just components?

Aye god forbid they’re keeping a viable business running and turning a profit

Don’t worry they won’t be around long anyway with all the “I was going to buy one but not anymore!” Going on in this thread…

People said the same about stuff we sell at work (bike related) prices were increased 6 months ago and sales seem to be roughly the same

30 is the Lowest at the front of you don’t have direct mount cranks, can’t go much lower than 40 at the back…

No, cant see how it makes any difference to the fork. just in the same way using a higher rise bar wouldn’t, will feel different for you but not your fork.

Fork hurting your hands on rough stuff could mean too much air, too much compression damping, not serviced recently so increased stiction etc last thing I would be blaming is the stem

That would piss me right off, not the money but just the barefaced cheek of waisting your time and then trying to give it back when it is broken!

Leisure lakes in Newport, have good stock of bearings and sell the mojo Nicolai bikes so can get the tools/parts also.

Mojo don’t really service anything other than the (fox)suspension.

M800 one is smaller, so needs a different tool or the plastic adapter and your normal tool.

Plastic adapter comes with the BB if you buy it from an actual shop not CRC

I would keep the kids at yours for now and speak to her and try and get things sorted, you really wouldn’t want to send them back and for something to go really tits up and your regret that forever.

Im not talking about the drugs necessarily just sending them into a situation where she isnt coping. I Would try my hardest to keep social services out of it if possible (1st hand experience tells me they will make things difficult for all of you for a long time if they get involved).

If you say you are having them and she needs time to sort herself out then I cant see that being unreasonable.

    Good luck
