I would but its kind of complicated, I bought it cheap after selling my other car and its kind of a rolling restoration that is weirdly cheaper to insure than something more sensible and I would get hardly anything for it at the moment, more of a long term thing.

Kind of like how I built my bike, bought a frame super cheap and then got the rest and built it over time. Helps when the distribution company I worked for supplied the black and gold bits…

They are 5 & 6, both in school now my mum does have them occasionally but she spends a lot of time looking after her elderly parents (my grandad has terminal cancer and my nan has dementia) and my brother is only 18 but he does help when he can.

I have seen my GP, I had an awesome one a few months back who really helped but then he moved to norway… and his replacement is basically a drug prescribing robot in a suit

I needed a letter confirming my medication for the court case and he said it was £50 I explained that £50 was half of a weeks income for me and 2 children and It was literally going to be one sentence I needed from him and he said “sorry there is nothing I can do without the fee”

Car insurance runs out in a few days so will probably take that off the road for a bit and save myself some cash paying that and the tax & fuel for a while until I have a job.

In a word… No

I was alright when I was younger and slim at 18 and then was in a relationship until I was 26.

So now Im single, fat with 2 kids and no experience of dating as an adult.

I find that women around my age either; Dont want kids so that scares them off, already have kids so no time/too complicated or want kids but their own and get put off by me already having some.

But thats from a very small sample as there arent many that get past looking at me

I used to work in a bike shop before briefly working for a distribution company (sending stuff from the warehouse) but done a bunch of jobs before but other than school and cytech no qualifications so honestly ill do pretty much any job at the moment.

I have no idea about these things but do you have sole custody of kids? Does there mum pay any maintenance? No idea if these are the things that get sorted in court first.

Might take you up on that some time. I havent officially but should as of friday but she isnt working now she is having baby and doesnt plan on going back and I havent had one penny from her since she left despite me looking after the kids for all but 7 hours of the week.

You are right about the kids they are with me in their home, their school etc and they are doing fine and are the reason I am managing to keep things together to be honest.

I am looking for a new job but its just hard finding something with suitable hours and you’d think working since you left school paying taxes would entitle you to a few months help when you fall on your arse but well not with this government…

I`m sure it will all work out in the end its just tough at the moment.

Meanwhile my ex is engaged and pregnant with the man she was seeing behind my back… and then to try and justify her actions she has accused me of all sorts of stuff luckily nobody believes (well except him) her and I can prove it is untrue so almost 100% that the court will say the kids stay with me.

I sold all my RCS a while ago, last ones I had were a HPI Baja (1/5 2 stroke 27cc) which was great fun but just too big and noisy to have anywhere to use it. Then I bought a traxxas rustler and spent a ton of money on bits and had it doing 55mph+ but was stupid and undriveable (would spin the wheels in the tyres at full throttle…)

Just bought my boys a Ripmax husky and jackal for Christmas as their first RC cars so on the look out for something for myself which obviously has to be faster than theirs.

I bought on recently for £2.5k with fresh engine rebuild and warranty. It’s a great car and somehow cheaper on Insurance than my diesel berlingo…

But it cost £560 tax and does 20mpg (but the engine is ported)

Ive had good success with it on car wheels. Loads of colours/effects. and you can quite easily touch it up with a quick spray when you get scratches etc

enough to 4 wheels is about £30 so you could probably do a frame for £15-20 easly

I`d take that (rightly or wrongly) as “jump before you are pushed”

I took my kids and dog to Carmarthen bay recently had a park swimming pool etc, nothing fancy but decent enough. Cost £40 extra for the dog mind!

Annoyingly the kids school is a polling station but not mine as I live the other side of the main road. So I dropped the kids off then had to walk 2 miles in the rain to my polling station in a portcabin in a carpark

Went shopping earlier and was good and only bought relatively healthy food…
