Went there before and was getting a 2 seater sofa out of the car by myself, all the blokes were stood around chatting as I was dragging it about by myself until some random (non council staff) guy offers me a hand getting it in the skip.

Some blond lady pulls up with one black bag and they were fighting over who got to help her 🙄

I had to get a bus the other week and it took 35 minutes to turn up (after it was supposed to turn up) then took 25 minutes to get to the destination and cost me £1.30…

I could have walked there in about 40 minutes if I knew it was going to be so late, or taken the car and been there in 10…

Yes, ive worked for companies/goverment agencies where they tell you that any communications on your work computer can be accessed by the IT department if asked for.

I have registered with a foodbank for the times I need it, I have done a few jobs here and there fixing bikes for friends etc but I dont have anywhere to work on them (live in a maisonette above a shop) and would cost a huge amount to set up properly with the tools etc and I honestly think you would have to work a lot more hours than I can manage to turn a profit in that business.

The kids have added a few things to the amazon list now for anyone interested, I have already been and bought some spare batteries etc for the RC cars I bought them so they can spend a bit longer using them without waiting for chargers at christmas which I certainly wouldnt have had the spare cash to do without everyones donations 🙂

Im doing ok at managing to buy things like clothes etc and my family are all getting things like that for them for xmas but thanks to all your donations I will be able to get them some more “want” stuff rather than just need.

Same agreement in place for now I have them for all but 7hours of the week. Which means I have them Christmas day 🙂

This will be in place until Feb/march have to try and get my legal aid reassess now as I was willing to pay for 1 month but another 4 is taking the piss a bit (they “calculated” I can afford £90 a month) although having a barrister today would have cost me £1000s without it :0

Court didn’t go as planned today, was supposed to be a final hearing but the person who compiled the report from social services (that recommend the kids stay with me) has been off sick and already delayed things once.

So the judge has ordered someone else to do another report which means I will be back in court at least another 2 times and not until next year. So things remain as they are for now which is ok but I just wanted things to be a bit more final by now…

My other motive for posting the picture is because stuff like that made me realise how much weight I put on, I was 18 when I met the boys mother and weighed about 12.5-13 Stone then after a few years of work and having kids I was hovering around 16, since we split up and my head hasn’t been in a good place ive ended up at over 17! which I only realised when weighing myself for the first time in ages a few days ago, so it was a bit of a wake up call that I am responsible for my boys and I need to be around as long as possible so Im making a big effort to get back to a much healthier weight.

I dont think I will do the amazon list now as some of the money and offers I have had are unbeleiveable and I already feel like it is too much! Im tottally blown away.

Just to show it isnt all bad, here is a picture of us a few weeks ago when I took them to see some fireworks. I always have a good time with them its when I am on my own it starts to get to me more

Thanks for the suggestions but I have managed to cope so far with selling off most of my bikes and some help from family I have been able to just about keep up with the stuff that is needed like clothes etc

Im fairly certain their mum has been buying them toys and stuff to keep at her house but has made no contributions to feeding/clothing them etc…

It gets to me a bit sometimes when I start to think they might prefer being with her even though they clearly arent her priority and their behaviour/school work has improved a lot since I have been looking after them and they are happy but at the end of the day they are just little kids so the fact their mums house has a playstation is always going to be appealing. Im sure eventually they will realise I was the one who gave up everything to care for them when it was needed.

Regarding the GP situation I was able to come to an agreement with the judge of just showing them my medication as proof as they agreed the doctor was being needlessly obstructive.

Hey Binners i`ll certainly take a read of that.

It is a 2015 Spider frame that I bought (last of the US made frames) and just built up over time, forks and shocks are made from spare parts from my previous employer and cost me nothing had a mate from the bike shop I worked in build me the wheels (hes way better than me with wheels) so I dont want to sell it as I haven’t used it and i`ll never be able to afford anything as nice now Im out of “the industry” but also wouldnt feel right selling things I had for free/done as favours

I know from experience that fixing the causes of my problems is the only way to sort it out. After tomorrow is over and done with that should be one big stress out the way hopefully, I’ve started making more effort to look after myself and shift some weight to try and get back a bit of confidence and hopefully once I get a job soon things will get a lot easier.

I wont forget this and If anyone needs any help/advice with any bike mechanical problems dont hesitate to get in touch as I owe you all.

I will if it comes to that but honestly for what I can sell this car for now + insurance tax etc I would struggle to get something that actually works enough to use for work.
