Makes total sense doesn’t it… you can buy a 16 J semi auto air rifle capable of serious injury/DEATH!! more easily than a spring single shot airsoft pistol that could maybe hurt your eye with a really close range shot

I kind of agree with the above but the issue with marriage (and part of the reason I wouldnt do it..) is that it is a legal contract.

So both wives assume they get your stuff if you die etc so by not knowing about each other it is a type of fraud.

It is most definitely a breach of the Data Protection Act. Medical data is actually classified as Sensitive Personal Data

Thick or thin lenses is sensitive medical data?

It isnt even medical data, let alone sensitive.

It is a product you chose to buy instead of another alternative.

Also you are livid about an opticians telling your wife but are happy to tell a bunch of internet strangers what kind of lenses you have?

Yeah as above, personal information is address, DOB etc maybe at a stretch your prescription but saying broadly what product you opted for is not really personal is it?

Also what are you hiding from your wife that means she cant possibly know the thickness of your lenses?

If you walked into a bike shop and were chatting to someone and said “my mate steve was in the other day and bought a specialized enduro not sure which one though it was green” and they said “oh yeah it was one of these *points*” would you start shouting at them for breaching the data protection act despite the fact you had already clearly seen steves bike and it was not a secret?

BB guns or airsoft guns for the good ones.

Fall under weird laws now where you cant buy ones that look like real guns, unless you have a valid reason. Member of an airsoft site/reenactment group, film company etc

The exception being ones painted red or blue or whatever so they are not “replica imitation firearms” IE dont look real enough are not covered by this.

Whereas airguns that are waaay more powerful are find and you can just buy what you want? :?

Really depends what you want to use it for, going airsofting or just shooting at targets in the garden?

I have owned loads over the years costing £20-400 so have a bit of experience

Yes the idea is this is a 8week recalibration as such after which you move on to a more flexible long term approach to eating.

    dantsw13 and Jonv –

The book helped a lot to understand how so many things you always accepted as “facts” like losing weight quickly is bad etc are just not true.

I think you are right that it is about a full on reset to understand what hungry and normal really are. So going to give this a proper go* and wait for the results :)

*Excluding Friday night as it’s my birthday this week and I probably will go out and get pissed enough to buy a kebab

Quitting smoking is easy I’ve done it hundreds of times…

In all seriousness though every now and again I buy a pack which usually leads to a few more before I realise and stop myself which works for a few weeks/months then I do it again. Never long term but still got to break the pointless cycle and realise there is no point and to stop wasting money/healthy lungs

I’ve been ill/injured since Saturday so not done any exercise apart from walking but have eaten ~1600cals a day and i stood on the scales today 1kg heavier :?

I read that book on the blood sugar diet yesterday (yes all of it) so I’m going to try that as a lot of it sounds too familiar.

Just wait till the pregnancy testing kits turn up, you won’t be so teary eyed (I wasn’t)

One of the reasons im glad I have boys…

Not saying I wasn’t involved with this sort of trouble when I was a teenager though but you always hope you can teach them based on your mistakes :?

I don’t know how you would accurately measure the dose of mushies, but there’s very little to go wrong if you do, as long as you get the right ones.

Well get a decent sized batch prepared (dried) then weigh them out and you just start with a fairly low amount and adjust as necessary.

For the desired effect you dont need to go taking enough to make you think you can fly or whatever just enough to start to make things feel a bit weird and it “resets” something in your brain. Certainly does something positive anyway

One day you will put them down and never pick them up again…

Mine are 5 & 6 and it seems like no time at all since they tiny and totally dependant on me, now I just need to provide food and entertainment pretty much

Wiggles – give it a week and try. I can honestly say it’s the easiest weight I ever lost. I reckon a week would lose you 7 pounds!

Downloaded the book and reading it now!

Sounds very familiar, certainly sounds interesting but not sure but could handle such an extreme drop in calories.

I wouldn’t really trust what you can get off a street dealer…

The mushrooms on the other hand are a plant therefore no unknown stuff added etc.

But it genuinely has made a big difference when used occasionally in accurately measured dosages.

Got a pixel 2 recently and it’s great. Had a nexus 5x and nexus 5 before that so been a fan of the Google plain android phones for a while then just run so much smoother and faster to compared to other android phones with all the brand associated add ons plus you get plenty of updates.

Have you read about the studies into the use of psilocybin (“magic”) mushrooms for depression.

i`m not advising that you can easily get class A drugs and take them  but my “friend” has tried it and the results are promising with the need for other medication reduced greatly.

I have failed many times at diets so am just keeping it simple for now not worrying massively about what im eating as long as the calories are ok in total and hopefully it should help once I figure out 1600 cals of good food will allow me to eat more.

I reckon I have eaten 1600 calories of just oreos in a day before
