Weekend wasn’t so great for me, but onwards and upwards…or downwards if we are talking about weight

That is pretty depressing isn’t it…

There’s a small play area near me that is behind some relatively new houses and I for the life of me can’t figure out how you get into it? From the road behind the houses it is fenced off (8 foot high chain link fence) and on Google maps it shows a path but when you enter the little cul-de-sac it is in the paths all seem to just be heading into someone’s garden? Never seen anyone in there.

So appears they built it and made it only accessible by the ~8 houses they built (which are all occupied by old people) and fenced it off to keep the rest of the public away…

Sad time for the staff, as a currently unemployed person I hope they find something as it’s not the best market out there at the moment :(

But I agree with TJ ( 8O ) that’s what it is essentially about, didn’t the CEO or someone manage to ensure he got his £4m bonus before all this happened?

£4m for running a company into the ground is pretty good money…

OP didn’t allude to the gender of the person cooking it so surely by claiming “chauvinism” you are the one being sexist for assuming it is being cooked by a woman?

I have two slow cookers (*waves genitalia around wildly*)

A small one which is great for chilli, curries etc (just brown the meat a bit in a pan first for best results)

And a big one for roasts etc, pulled pork is also awesome easy slow cooker recipe

Yeah I’d do agree with that.

Sometimes you find and item slightly cheaper on one website over another and then when it gets to the checkout there is a fee that makes it the same/more expensive so just wastes time and is pretty sneaky

Typical tory legislation move isnt it…

Pretend you have done something to save people money but really it just means businesses just add a little more onto everything so people are actually worse of and profits go up slightly.

I think the op is having the same thing I did. Loads is it still for sale?

Fair enough but you reply “yes £10 and it’s yours” and then nothing they never reply so why ask?

I was selling a kids car seat for £12 to just get rid and I kept getting offered stupid things like “I’ll give you £8 if you deliver it” why are you buying a car seat if you don’t have a car?

Pick it up and give me £10 and it’s a deal and it never sold…

If you want it to be good a low speed crawling, sacrificing top end yes that’s the easiest route.

But if you want high and low speed capabilities a sensored brushless set up would be better as it has sensors in the motor that know what point in the cycle it is and smooth it out to avoid cogging but they aren’t cheap.

Gearing can help also ESC settings. But if you want it to “crawl” sensored set up aren’t ideal

    Also..

It will spin slower so possibly.
But really cogging is just part of the deal with sensorless brushless set ups brushes or sensored is the way to go for slow speed stuff.

Typical STW fashion weve got to the point of arguing and quoting laws when all the op has said is his lad wants a toy gun to play with…

How about we wait until he says the age and use of the gun first…

My comment wasnt saying anything negative about using a gun to kill stuff just that an airsoft gun wont. Depends on as I said what he wants to do with it and how much space you have to use, as obviously you cant go running around the park with a RIF

dont own a house so enough to buy one mortgage free would be enough for me, even a modest wage would be alright if you didnt have to pay rent/mortgage.

Please don’t perpetuate anti gun nonsense, you should know better.

Depends on the age of the kid surely and what they want to do? a 10 year old could happly mess about in the garden with a bb gun with a pair of glasses/goggles and there be very very little risk of them causing any trouble. But an air gun which undoubtedly has its advantages but they could cause a lot more trouble damage so would have to be supervised at all times.

Person 2 has that information divulged to them by employee of said opticians

What malicious act can this person now commit with the knowledge of the thickness of their arch enemies lenses?

What type of bullets needed for their sniper rifle to kill you through your eye?

    wiggles

Personally Id definately recomend an airsoft gun as much less dangerous and dont need more power if you arent going to kill stuff. Bbs are super cheap all you have to compromise on is having a bright colour painted on half the gun. £40-100 for something to start with
