I have the exact same problem if i can get the missus to help i will post a pic also may help us both.

I did it in my pub and loved it, some clients are assholes but on the whole its a good deal, and the pleasure of making money while you sleep is fantastic clients return year after year and become friends, yes long hours and hard work especially if you do evening meals or run a bar as well but the added value is where the money is.

For that money i would want to see it first, pics allways look good and one mans opinion of condition may not be the same as another..

on the whole I would be dubious and unless you physically see it I would say dont go there.

I think the problem is with most of their bikes they only offer 3 sizes if you fall on the cusp then you may struggle to get a good fit look at nearly every one else and they offer 4,5 or 6 different sizes ….. :idea: I dont think you can cover from 5′ 3″ to 6’3″ on 3 sizes.

yes the London road on sale is quite attractive 149 for the silver and i think the medium would fit but then i have to buy discs for those frames the rigdeback would take the running gear from the ebc machine.

The bars are already short reach shalow drop.

Had it to long to send it back and EBC are not making any compensatory noises.

Ok i think that this bike will never fit and maybe i need to get on and try to save the situation, I can not buy a frame easily here or get good advice so Iam stuck with mail order from the uk….I have found this

It is a Revolution country traveller tourer my first drop bar bike,

I purchased mail(duh) order as i live in france and drop bar tourers are hard to find here,but i just dont seam to be able to make it fit

the 55 comes with a 70 mm stem so shortining the cockpit is hard and the effective top tube seams rather long when compared with other touring frames EBC dont publish geometry and i did not do enough research but trusted the salesmans advice that the 55 was right for a man 5’9″.

so whats the big advantage of dumping the versatility of 3×9 for less gear range, i just dont see the need/advantage to the majority of riders

My first fs was off ebay appolo or viking I think solid iron when i put it on the scales it was 45lb but it looked good lol

Yes if you take it on and off a lot the cable can damage but i would suggest it does not need to be tightened as much as you think ..my first one i over tightened the two underneath screws badly cutting into the cable …..apart from this a good bag four years on still happy with it.

Dont go to an auction unless you really know what your doing find a good private sale or reputable dealer and get the waranty do not go back street tradeing estate monkey who bought it cheap and tarted it up

I have a mké 3.0 ducato 6 speed box drives better than a car does 30+ to the gallon and can earn a bob on the side sleep in it party in it love it, parking is a bitch and french toll roads bloody expensve.
