Agree with you Kerley the cx just does not cut it when I turn off the tarmac, I know its all a compromise I just haven’t decided which bit I am willing to compromise on yet.

hi Malvern Rider pretty sure thats to long for me but if you have time measure from the centre of the top tube cap to the centre of the seatpost as close to horizontal as you can and ill know for sure, the seat nose measurement will vary according to seat.

charmouth forest is nice especially if the bluebells are out, then lamberts castle and conneys castle follow the road to shaves cross for lunch if the pub is still there, from the shaves back to ryall with beer on board is easy and a nice day has been had.

I would love to see the correspondence between PX and the manufacturer of the first batch because I am sure the first batch was shite and PX must have told them so.

I looked at repositioning it but if I move it lower then when I change to the middle ring it would touch the outer ring with the outside of the cage.

so when in the midle position it only just clears the big ring if that makes sense.

The front derailer is a sora unit could that be the problem I have read that 9 and 10 speed derailers have a slightly different shift width ?

All drive train parts are nearly ndw and all bought for this build so no one part older than the rest and have not done many miles.

    No mud involved.

Such a good frame i can never understand why Onone dont revamp it with some more braze ons it would be a real classic then and so multi-purpose.
