Erg mode problems can be powered through usually… or anticipated so change gear just before cadence change required… I was in same boat pedalling squares and ready to sell turbo but with a bit of practice you can overcome it!

Not a question but definitely stupid🤪 on my 5th week of zwift build me up…. only just discovered the 100% plus or minus under the workout details increased the difficulty… I thought it was the font size for old buggers! Wondering why it doesn’t get easier to read!

On the bright side I’m working 10% harder so must be getting better?

With the popularity of zwift people aren’t going to be giving them away any time soon i reckon… I picked up an elite drivo unused for £450 … guy was hard to get hold of on messenger as wasn’t working apparently…. when I collected the next day he said he’d been bombarded with enquiries!

Was looking at a cube cross bike for 3.5 k seemed a bargain with force axs carbon wheels etc… jumped to 4.1 overnight… probably worth it but peed me off!

Not sure if I explained correctly either… 11spd cassette is fitted to direct drive turbo so don’t want faff of swapping cassette!

Don’t mention the ex wife! Cold sweat then, current girlfriend is clumsy putting it kindly and not very confident on a flattish traffic free coast cycle path. I’m looking for a cheap option too so assumed 11spd mtb would be easier to find than 11 spd Road? Thanks folks

Yep I think I saw something on the Facebook group about a hack to get libre 2 to display on a watch or something without miao miao a couple of weeks ago… such geekery is miles beyond me so didn’t focus that closely sorry! Libre horizon I believe will link it to new omnipod so they will not countenance any DIY mods obviously 😉

If you’re doing intervals and suddenly go from 250 watts to 125 say it will sometimes register 0 for a few seconds as the erg mode catches up on my Drivo… legs are going round so assuming some power is coming out if them😉

When I had a few prolonged stays in hotels I just left my bike in the car and nipped out for a ride once course had finished…. getting some fresh air and combating the inevitable 3 course lunch and dinner 😊

Ex girlfriend of mine hung around with some lads, one of whom had a hot hatchback that was his absolute pride and joy. One of his mates got a key cut and they drove him nuts by making subtle parking changes, they’d move it one space to left or right in a pub carpark, if he’d reversed in they’d turn it around…. he properly thought he was losing the plot! Final straw was when she hid in the boot and climbed through split rear seat to appear sat in the back as he drove along 😉 he had a proper sense of humour failure about it apparently

Thanks guys … I’ve had a Google and come across these… I got the sense that trainer road stuff may work better per se but as I’m actually enjoying Zwift I’m more likely to stick with it! So looking for results for that specifically please!

Mine came with all fittings… oh and Zwift? … just do it! Totally addictive and time flies, this coming from a guy who despised turbos and has zero interest in video/computer games😉

Yep I bought some sids from Germany recently, same issue. Didn’t fancy sending back so asked Phil from Indi Cycle Works to take a look in case it was something minor, top out bumper missing, token from a different fork fitted and only half the oil needed in place! He said forks often get shipped with problems from the factory as workers ain’t the best! Sorted quickly by him for not much money and forks are brilliant now

I love the look of the inflite but am currently looking at a cube … AXS force 12 1x carbon bars wheels and post for 3.5k seems great value for when NWCX restarts!

Are they shipping to the UK at the moment? I love my super-x(2015 version) but feel slightly between sizes, the dish is only 6mm or so isn’t it so any LBS should be able to sort surely?

I had the same… bloody annoying wrote a good review basically saying it was great kit on a par with castelli or assos and a bargain with the ubiquitous strava 50 quid discount codes…. I got the same knock back. The pro bib tights are brilliant for £79 quid …. I wouldn’t pay £190 though!

Same here with gabba though… 5 plus years of brilliant service… and everyone ive recommended it to love theirs too… can’t go wrong with one!

As a get you home repair thats impressive! Cheap and readily available bits… even on a Sunday… tied wheels on back in 90s using wire cut off fences when quick release snapped. Similarly repaired chains with bits of wire, used zip ties to fill the gap in a cassette left by a cracked sprocket recently 😳

28 years ago straight out of university i was working and renting a room in Chester… lad in work suggested buying a boat and mooring it at Heswall (free as put own mooring in) bought a steel 27ft yacht for £7k lived on it for a couple of blissful years before selling it on at a profit… cheap as chips to run as put a wood burner in …. gas bottle seemed to last forever! Nothing beats the feeling of waking up to the gentle rocking of a boat… absolutely loved it sold as moved in with girlfriend later wife…. in retrospect should have stayed on boat😉

Edge of the kerb is ideal for straightening wheels like that!
