Stendec sells some silicon based stuff for a fiver a can…keeps my forks smooth and makes carbon shine up like new too! I heard you aint supposed to use petroleum based stuff cos it does rot seals

Right there Molgrips..reminded me of a wind up on one of my cycling buddies in uni..he was a bit tardy with coursework and gonna be away with his folks for an extra week after one of the breaks…we got some uni headed paper and mocked up a letter telling him if he didnt attend a meeting with all his outstanding coursework he was off the course…obviously the meeting was scheduled while he was still away!…cue loads of stressing and a general panic… that afternoon we went for a ride, I told him it was a windup at the top of trentham gardens…his face was a picture of relief

Found slick shift hardcoats ok myself but didn't notice any extra life over the previous FSA set, on a set of raceface now which seem slicker on upshifts but not much in it!

Yep thanks fella…I've looked at the incidence/types of side affect, just wondered if this muscle wastage was noticable in terms of power output for riders who've taken them?

Think that clashes with Llanwrst tri too…they used to run bits of the marin so look out for lots of fit lasses in wet lycra tri suits….hmmm surely those retrobike bearded weirdy folks factored that in?

PS Bearded weirdy was a JOKE..as a clean shaven Fuquay owner!

Horse riders do it to practice jumps…not out of vindictiveness!..I had it for a while on a local bridleway..kept finding pine logs until I invented MTB Caber tossing… Top tip horsey types won't venture into brambles to fish em out

been a couple of times and it was fine, don't recall that many drags TBH lots of accessible powder and off piste bits…only bit I didn't like was a skinny road back to the resort bit narrow and busy for an easy board down when you are knackered!

Harry that comes across pretty badly mate…lot of people out there worried sick about their job security or maybe have already lost one

Cheers IHN for posting that up!

I think it's brilliant  the design is really good because the first time you ride it at 2 points you just think it drops away…so you panic but it doesn't! it's really wide and easily rollable!

That boggy loggy bridge thing is chuffin horrible…fell off it on my retro bike…glad if its gone!

Hmmm…we had 4 of these in a week….overstayed time limits whilst interviewing in a Mcdonalds, had receipts for duration of stay…Mrs rang em up and they were pretty reasonable…she rang the Mcds manager he got the wrong end of the stick and grovelled apologetically and got em all cancelled!…so maybe ignoring them isn't always the best approach?

Tk maxx are great for all the kit you need…I get merino base layers and Helly there for cycling too, gloves not mitts as they aren't so easy on bindings.

defo book last minute…when you know snow is there!…look for numbers of chairlifts drags are a PITA for boarders especially beginners

Kneepads and padded shorts are great…helmets are cosy and save some pain if it's icy…goggles better than sunnies too

Skiings for 80's obsessed throwbacks…stick to boarding you'll love it

Finally, as in riding, speed is your friend!

Foxy's closest…it was/is the first bit of track off the top of Snowdon next to the rails so the oil covers the path in drizzly conditions, ideally on an old hardtail

    Hi Justin,
Thanks for your email.Apologies but we under-estimated the level of interest our sale would generate and the number of orders we received meant that unfortunately the warehouse was delayed by a few days.
Happy to inform you your order was dispatched last night (05/08/10) and should be with you shortly, if you would like you can track the order online here:

Email from them today, so no they are not back up to the high standards they've set for themselves….However shock bushes ordered yesterday from Mojo turned up this morning

Slight hijack…CRC just taken over 48 hrs to process an order (all instock early on Weds) with their 48hr delivery this means its getting on for a week before I can expect the bits…anybody else finding they've slowed up?

I wouldn't drive a 200mile round trip for Llandegla mind…..BUT if you did fall off its busy up there so you'd get rescued soon enough

NB I'm spoilt having shedloads of good places on my doorstep…but dont often drive the 35 miles to Llandegla

Nah there is genuine stuff out there…if you can be bothered to fill out surveys honestly you will get rewarded for it, some panels work on points so many per study that you can cash in or trade for entries in a £5k monthly draw..once you have some experience with them you do get to test new concepts…from choccy bars to cars to give feedback on…..I'd do it myself but am barred cos I work in the industry and use their services to find out stuff!
