Have had them on for a couple of weeks now so done maybe 60-70 miles off road and last sunday i did 51 miles on the road with no sign of wear at all but i recon they are duel compound as the side knobs seen quite soft . oh by the way they are big

Very good tyre i am running the TLR's tubeless using just gaffa tape to seal the spoke holes and some stans juice , i would say they are every bit as grippy as Maxxis High Roller's 2.35 but roll much better . If you dont swap tyres to often go tubeless with them as when my last tyres came off i had six thorns in it and setting them up only takes 15 mins .

Last year i used Maxxis Exception tyres with rim strips in N Wales at the trail centers and on natural trails with no problem at all and although i'm no Steve Peat i dont hang about

Has anyone tried just yellow tape with normal tyres and Mavic rims – i've used them with UST and Bonty TLR tyres fine

dont use it on ANY moving parts as it just washes away the grease or oil that should be there

have a look through recent posts but it seems that people have had a bit of trouble with the CK bb's . Hope ceramic bb's are the way to go for sure .

why all the crazy ideas just drag it a couple of feet away from the back wall and just climb in through the boot , open the bonnet charge the battery and bingo it's sorted

i would like to think with the news of 1000cc production based engines taking some of the x 250 boys advantage away , that some of them could progress into Moto GP and do well in a couple of years

Had ORO's for a couple of years and liked them so much got R1's to save some weight and they seem even better .
Had the older XTR's which were trouble .
The Avids are on a mates bike and eat pads and compared to the R1's weigh a tonne

Look up Andy Pruitt on youtube to make sure your bike fit's first before you go spending just incase it's that , but either way Ergon grips are fantastic

if you think they are grippy try Maxxis HighRoller 2.35 Maxpro's get the folding kevlar bead single ply ones – you'll frighten yourself with the speed you'll be able to corner
