i had saddle problems for years that cost me a fortune

SDG Bel Air was very good but a little soft
WTB Rocket was a good but a little narrow
Gobi was to soft to rounded from side to side and to narrow
Selle italia slr xc gel flow would of been perfect if 10mm wider
Fizik Aliante XM Was a bit to soft

SDG Formula FXR TI Heaven like angels kissing my arse

The first ride was the Dyfi enduro with not a single issue , have since done the Welsh C2C on it and day 3 was 9hrs ride time pain free , and it's the first saddle that has not made my lipstick go numb .

Ive got a Bontrager XR4 2.2 TLR and a XDX 2.1 TLR both in good very good condition . very good combo as the xr4's grip really well and the XDX are super fast £28 posted

That was the most boring waste of my time i can remember if the team orders SCANDAL is the best they can do count me out . MotoGP and WSB are so much better .

Running Bontrager XDX 2.1 tubeless ready at the moment super fast and grip ok , for a little more grip for the front a Bontrager XR2 would be perfect .

on a hard tail for your weight i recon the 2.25 or even the 2.4 if it'll fit in your frame would be far better and prob faster in every way

and 40psi is a bit hard for tubeless as the tyre carnt conform to the shape of the ground putting all the pressure on one point making the tyre ping off everything

110mm stem makes me think you'll have 1.9 tyres at about 50psi

try the bike with the slower rebound you'll find aslong as it's not packing down you'll have far more grip

Here in N Wales they are far more natural looking and ride as so – sorry apart from Llandegla . Very clear vid well shot but the trail looked like there should be kirb stones running down one side and small walls and gates on the other :?

dont put too much pressure in though as the Schwalbe UST tyres pop of the rim very easily and you'll not be able to hear for days if it happens , it's happened to a few of us , it could also be a plain old egg in the tyre

The Schwalbe have loads of tests on their site to prove the speed advantage of wide tyres for xc use and their race teams run the 2.25 . Also the conti teams run the Race King in 2.2 because wider is faster and more comfy so i just carnt understand why people still use skinny tyres

in the order you've put them in for the maxxis and going by other threads the RQ slotted below the Highrollers
but most DH riders seem to use Highroller rather than Minions maybe due to rolling resistance ????

MBOY you'll find most of the world cup XC riders are using wider tyres now tubeless with pressures down to between 25psi – 30psi as off road it's much faster with better grip . Schwalbe have a link on there site to a study about rolling resistance which explanes it all

dont listen to njee20 they are trouble free and roll better than the Hope pro SP3's i had before them and you can adjust the preload on the bearings if they develope a little play

no dont lock your forks and use the softest of your shock setting too as you said traction has been your problem and you need to go over thing instead of them knocking you off course

as low as 20 psi in your rear tyre will help to give the tyre a bigger foot print giving you loads more grip – you may have to put some back in to finish your ride though

bring the saddle forward around 10mm ? how do you know were he has it it now ?
I had a 03 Sub 5 and it climbed really well and i had the basic Rockshok Sid shock on it, the only thing that could be a little off putting was the amount of feed back through the pedals on technical climbs, the feel for traction made up for that though.
Almost bought another last year but got a Whyte E120 ( you'll not like this ) as it rides Better and the warranty is amazing .

i never got passed once on the way down i did pass a few myself though but in a slightly more thoughtfull manner , plenty passed me on the way up as it happens .
Can you not see the damage you could of caused somebody it's called the Dyfi Enduro not the singlespeedstu show .

Events with hundreds of other people are not the place to show off your skills
