There is a one down from the bottom corner of Llyn Geirionydd but it is a footpath and might be a bit difficult to blend in to your ride .

Try setting the rebound to 4 clicks from full ( slow ) then fine tune a click either way , but the main thing is if it rides good as a little movement aint gona kill you or slow you down either

The Gobi is the worst saddle i’ve ever had as it’s so narrow and curved from side to side , having had both the SDG Bell-Air and the Spoon i found them to be the same curvy shape from front to back just the spoon had slightly less padding .
For me the SDG Formula and Specialized Henge are super comfy as they are the right width and quite flat , but it’s taken years and a few hundred pounds worth of swapping saddles to find them .

my ceramic BB went a little tight , so a popped the seals off , cleaned the bearings and used a light grease . Have been doing that for about two years and they are still running super smooth .

STENDEC do a tubeless fluid that is much better than stan’s and seals quicker and bigger holes

that sounds nasty hope you recover well . I too had a go Sunday thinking it was open and really enjoyed it and looking forward to having a play in the dark . I think the recent work done has been great and is turning the place into a days riding instead of a quick blast when time is an issue , it’s also nice to see that the crazy parking fees are being put to good use , well done One Planet

Hope R4 every time for me as it gives you the choice to use it as a helmet light , and if you strap the battery to your stem you’ll not have ” loads of cable to mess with ” .

    Whyte1

plus if you use the R4 as a head torch the battery indicator is irrelevant anyway

I bet the English that moan about getting a bad reception in Welsh pub’s have pub’s in their towns very similar only they know to avoid them

I’d still keep the Trek though

I’d get rid of the Strange as the warranty is crap but you’ve got a lifetime warranty on the Trek plus it’s lighter and pedals better without relying on propedal

I’ve got a book written by Andy Pruitt the man behind the Specialized Body Geometry gear and his remey for “hot foot” is moving the cleat as far back as it’ll go . Put it in google and see what comes back .

Chain-L no5 is so much better than the others mentioned as it’s good for wet or dry riding and makes your chain super quiet and smooth , but does need care when applying

I ride a F.S because it allows me to ride harder for longer without having a bad back for days , but it is only short travel so i’m not going silly A&E speed when it goes wrong , but still getting a buzz .

But i bet most of you clowns saying you dont NEED F.S are using
Big soft compound tires – which you dont need
Disc brakes – which you dont need
    indexing gears
    SPD’s
    wide riser bars
    etc etc etc

They are all MTB’s and all good
