having been there I'd suggest you get a new bike with discs, bolt thru long travel forks etc and keep your stumpy as a commuter/hack/pub bike

We stayed here (Marthrown). Cracking little place with a Sauna & hot tub. The food is fantastic.

You can ride from the door & be on the Mabie route within minutes..

Holiday, don't talk to me about holidays. I due to fly to the Dominican Republic (same island as Haiti) next week.

I sold some 2008 Bomber 55 ATA2 about 3 months ago which had just been replaired (never fitted back on a bike) for £170 on the bay.

come to the conclusion, no point upgrading unless you want the bling factor, plus the XT brakes are better than the XTR ones.

Staying with XT.
