my sympathy on having to visit sunderland.

If your travelling up the day before Dalby is fine, but its a fair way from Sunderland so don't leave late in the morning (depends where your coming from 'spose), went past that way on wednesday and was still a bit of snow around.
Hamsterley is good but will prob be under a fair bit of water in places, and is closer to sunderland

My mrs works PT for the council and gets around 17K.
We cope pretty well, in fact prob never been so well off. only have 1 kid (12).

Only credit benefit we get is child allowance and a tenner a month for some tax credit thing. Working tax credits depend on how many kids you have (the more the better) and how much you earn (i think threshold is about 18k, but dont quote me)

This year will be my 21st as a registered voter, the first time I voted was in a local council election and I went to the ballot box as a young man full of hope and belief in the politcal system. It was also the last time I voted.

when I was younger it was Jason Donovan, i think it was the similar haircut.

In recent years I've been likened to:
    Graham Norton
    Will Young
    Ronan Keating

I'm going down the vets in the morning see how much it costs to be put down

I've forgotten most of the stupid things I've done or never remembered them anyway.

Back in the Navy days, came in from a club in Gosport at 4am and pi$$ed all over one of the lads I was sharing a mess with, he had a big woollen blanket on him, woke up freezing in the morning he did and stinking.
Once phoned a girl I was having a bit of a thing with whilst on a night out with the girlfriend of the time, she caught me waffling bullshit at the back of a boozer on a mobile didn't realise she was sat next to me listening, drink is great but time hasn't healed those wounds.
Once crashed at my mates folks after a heavy night in my youth, woke up and couldn't get out of the living room and ended up pi$$ing over his TV and sky box, this was early 90's when sky was new and cost and arm and a leg.

I think I've made some almighty mistakes over the years and I do wonder why I still drink sometimes.

not defending him for a moment, but describing wayne bridge as a footballer is taking things a bit far……

bad crack all the same, all the money in the world and they still not happy.
Haven't read the link, is bridge still with his missus? or will I read about it on the net on sunday when the papers release the story!
never reALLY THOUGHT MUCH OF HIM AS A BLOKE, BUT HIS FOOTIES OK.

I like FB but agree with above comments, saw him live about 18months and apart from a handful of jokes most were from MTW.
Michael Mcintyre is ok for a few minutes in between acts on that Live at the apollo show, but I couldn't watch him for 90mins.
I liked Russell Howards show on BBC3 and that was pretty good.
Reginald D hunter, now, he da man!

pop round to MrNutts, borrow his sheeps head thingy and go introduce yourself as the local witches coven and invite them to next meet……(not for one minute suggesting you are witchy in any way shape or form)….but if they are renting they may not stop that long especially if you pop on some maiden and wander round garden late at night with flowng gowns holding sheep thing to the skys……get one of them blood capsules from that rugby team, that'll do the job.

I've probably had too much to drink this evening and you may wish to consider this option in the cold light of day. I will, before offering anymore advice.

Slightly different thing with a bank. My dad rang me a couple of weeks ago to tell me he had found an old bank book of mine from 1992, it hadn't been used since then either and there was less than £100 quid in so I thought that it might be worth having a look at seeing if I could get the money back. Hey ho, found Martin Lewis's website has a link to the banking website site that tracks down old accounts.

So I fills in all the details from the passbook and waited, got an email back saying that it might take 2weeks or more to locate account details.
Less than 12 hours pass and the Northern Rock can confirm they have never heard of me or had any accounts in that name.

Strange, I had a savings account (pass book in my hand), current account, credit card and a loan….oh yes and I worked for them for a year. Nice to know I made a good impression on them as a customer.

My local council takes great pride in declaring itself a beacon council (whatever that means?) I recently asked for a few more waste bins round the local park for rubbish, dog plop etc…..

'bins are unhygenic and regulary vandalised in public spaces, we have no current plans to increase the number in the location….yours XXXXXX recreational waste officer'

The great salary and pension scheme.

My Mrs works 30hrs a week and gets same as me take home, and secretly I thought I was doing well best salary I've ever had.

Clearly you can't put this on the job app, just my mini rant.

'the opportunity to do great things for a great organisation and making a real difference for local people'

all complete tosh of course, but some of these HR types lap up that kinda cr@p

£500 is a small amount to pay if she decides she can't work for you anymore and up's and leaves and you have to go through a much more costly recruitment process.

Jujuuk68, I like real ale, single malts, red wine, G&T's, and the odd lager at a BBQ. what does that make me?

Clues, I'm no teenager, can't ride a motor bike, never made it to manager of the bank, but I don't mind a bit of rock guitar.

Its like getting your palm read…..never had that done either
